Character Update Poll - Preview
Hello everyone!
Thank you all so much for the amazing response to the Welcome Week Update. Seeing our supporters play through it and share their thoughts has been incredibly motivating. Your support continues to push this project forward, and we are very grateful to have such an active and encouraging community.
We're getting close to our very first Character Update Poll, where you will decide who gets featured in our first Character Update! So before all Patreon supporters begin voting on Friday, we wanted to share a bit about what you can expect from each character's storyline!
Below you will find a collection of images for each character you will be able to vote for in Friday's poll. In these images, you will find:
A brief description of Chapter One of each character's storyline
Other characters who will be featured in the update
The Heat Level - displaying just how hot things will get in the update
Voting Begins Friday, Nov 21st!
This poll is your chance to directly influence the direction of the game! From the start, we wanted to give our supporters a genuine role in shaping Edgefield, and this vote is one of the most important ways you can do that.
That being said, we are making adjustments to the weighted voting system so that influence is more fairly distributed across the higher tiers.
Here’s what the new Weighted Voting System looks like:

➡️ Sophomore Tier - Voting Power x10
➡️ Junior Tier - Voting Power x20
➡️ Senior Tier - Voting Power x50
What's Next?
Once the poll concludes and we announce the winner, Dr. Bird will begin writing the script! At the same time, Gopher and Kicks will continue development on the Dating App Update, which is scheduled to release before the first Character Update.

Dear Patreon Members, As you can see by my pateron username, i am a devoted QUINN FAN! Of course, anyone who wants a different character in the next poll to win please vote for whoever you'd like! But any Quinn Fans, VOTE QUINN! Unfortunately, as a actual student myself i cannot afford any higher than a membership of Freshman status, so i thought i would try the power of my words instead! Higher membership holders, you have the power!!! Also a message for undercover pop games: The Quinn Army is rising, and we demand she gets an character update! I love Peter, and I love his feelings towards Edmund...any plans to add a bit of jealousy to H scenes with Peter, when/if Edmund starts getting interested to? :-D Same for Trent and Lucia :-D or any plans for a love/hate 3 way in any of those sets? :-D
is there any plan to make the study scene give you a generic boost to your lowest, or all your classes one day :-p I liked it and the idea as our schedule gets busier, it might be a fun way to boost our scores for various future planned classes :-D
I'm really hoping Victoria can open the door to some alternative ways of earning money than flipping burgers... 😏

No options for Emma or Sasha yet? On the one hand, that may be best given the number of other characters we can vote on. On the other - BOO!
Posted a couple of questions in the discord, might as well post them here in case it gets seen first: First, could I ask how long you guys estimate one character update will take to complete? You don't have to give an exact number, but an estimate for what wait time to expect, compared to other updates would be nice. Secondly, have you guys considered having the character updates be "doubled-up" updates with a character for each sex represented instead? Since this last update only really had one sexual scene with a male character, which might leave straight-male and lesbian preferring players left wanting, I was curious to hear what considerations you guys had when coming up with this structure? Finally what are you guys intending with less popular characters? Will the winner of this poll for example be left out of the next one, or might you include the less voted-on characters in other kinds of updates? I'm assuming the main cast won't only progress their stories with these individual updates, otherwise getting around to all of them will take a while I imagine. Hopefully these aren't repeat questions.
Sure! We're not going to give a time estimate because we're not sure yet. All I will say is that it will be a lot less work than the Welcome Week Update. Doubling up the updates would increase the amount of work meaning it would take longer and we're really focused on releasing updates more quickly. There might not be a ton of gratifying content for everyone in each character update, but we're hoping the additions to HookUp app makes up for some of that. Yes. Say if Peter wins the first character poll, the next poll will be women only and the following would be male only excluding Peter. We'll go until every character has an update. There will also be event updates where we get a bit of time with multiple characters.
I am now torn because on one hand I really wanna go on a date with Jun, but then on the other hand there’s Jada who is one of two that you don’t have an interaction with, the others on the list you do short or brief they may been
I take it we can only vote for one of them. This will be a strenuous excercise in restraint. I wanna see ALL of them!!

Apologies if this has been explained before (or even here and I am suffering from terrible reading comprehension), but does a character update only focus on ONE character, or the top few?
Each character update will focus on a single character! We're doing this to cut down on production time and get more updates out more often <3
