What Flavor of Fry?
Story choices come up every now and again on the Discord, which I kept meaning to make polls about here on Patreon. So here it is, finally, the first poll about an in-game choice:
What did you choose for Anwen's nickname?

She's actually too sweet underneath it all to be mean, the meanness is just being playful really
Can I ask why you didn't consider a one-word player provided option?
Because 'Small Fry' and 'Mean Fry' are the only names that mean anything to the characters. I'm sure some folks would find it fun/funny to have the option to enter custom names for nick/pet names, but it's not a design choice I'm particularly fond of.
i never would have expected small fry to have been more popular
I always used to go for Small Fry because I hated any implication that she's average, but Mean Fry eventually won me over with the double (triple?) entendre and the fact that it represents a new framing for their relationship. (Though I've always thought the choice makes it painfully obvious that you're from a part of the world where they don't have Hot Fries. They're red, they're spicy, if you knew about them, it would have been an option.)
I like my redheads feisty, hot and hardy, they can be mean all the want as long as they are soft to me...
Small Fry
Small Fry all the way for the smol fry, and constantly calling her "mean" is mean!
given her hair, you should have added curly fry.
Now I'm angry I didn't think of that.
My #1 avn out of several hundred! Great dialog flow, humor, animation, characters, art, story, no bugs and of course...gingers!!! Thanks for your efforts!
I've chosen both on different playthroughs, but I'm pretty sure I've gone with Mean more often than I have Small because I liked the double pun.
Me too, although I still think "small fry" sounds better, but now that Anwen has grown up more and is more mature (in some ways lol), the "mean fry" nickname is better while also staying somewhat true to her personality.
