[Volume 1 Afterword] When I confessed to the girl I liked, her twin sister came along as a bonus
Afterword
Hello, Brave Bunko readers! I’m Yuu Kagami.
I’ve written light novels for various labels and worked as a scenario writer for PC games.
This work, I Confessed to My Crush, and Her Twin Sister Came as a Bonus, is exactly as the title suggests.
It’s a rare case where the tentative title stuck. Straightforward titles like this are the norm now, and clarity is a good thing.
Calling the second heroine, the “twin sister,” a “bonus” might seem rude, but her character makes it clear she’s no mere extra. She’s not the type to stay in the background…!
I’ve always loved the “twin” motif and have included twins in past works.
But this might be the first time they’re the main focus?
They’re perfect for slightly spicy scenes, super easy to work with. If I get to continue, there’s tons more I want the twins to do! Please support me!
Before this, I wrote a fantasy story, about 150 pages.
The main heroine was a slave elf, and it was a goofy comedy.
But I wasn’t satisfied with its quality, and after discussing with my editor, we switched to this rom-com.
It wasn’t about chasing trends, but I think it worked out for the best.
Katto-sensei, thank you for the amazing illustrations! With two heroines, many scenes feature both, which must’ve been a high-calorie task to draw…!
Editor-san, thanks for your endless help despite the long process!
Above all, my deepest gratitude to you, the readers!
I hope we meet again.
Summer 2022,
Yuu Kagami
