[Volume 1 Epilogue] When I confessed to the girl I liked, her twin sister came along as a bonus
Epilogue
“Actually, Fuuka and I are dating Maki.”
“Yes, Yuzu-nee and I are in a relationship with Maki-san.”
“H… Huh!?”
It was break time one day.
I thought Yukizuki was chatting with friends when Fuuka joined in—
And they dropped a bombshell out of nowhere.
The first to shriek was Riina Takaya.
She stared back and forth between Yukizuki and Fuuka’s faces, then whipped around to me with astonishing speed.
“M-Maki-kun!? Hey, what’s going on!?”
Takaya glared at me, her voice echoing through the classroom.
At the same time, the other classmates started buzzing with excitement.
Yukizuki, the most striking beauty in the class.
Fuuka, equally striking and a transfer student.
And me, Maki—the most notorious guy, in a bad way.
A guy dating twin girls is already bizarre enough.
But when it’s the three most attention-grabbing people in the class? It’d be weirder if they didn’t freak out.
I considered bolting, but short of skipping school or dropping out, there’s no escape.
Besides, running from the enemy isn’t manly.
I sank back into my chair, deliberately sitting deeper, leaning back arrogantly with my arms crossed.
My already unnecessarily huge frame looked even bigger in this pose.
“Just like Yukizuki and Fuuka said. I’m dating both Tsubasa Yukizuki and Tsubasa Fuuka. Got a problem with that?”
“…No problem, but—”
Takaya, for some reason, looked frustrated, almost growling.
Her best friend and her twin sister suddenly dating the last guy she’d expect.
Takaya knew I confessed to Yukizuki, but she probably never imagined Yukizuki would say yes.
Let alone that I’d be dating her sister too—
Fuuka announced she had a boyfriend on her first day, but Takaya clearly never dreamed it was me.
Is she frustrated that everything’s beyond her imagination?
You’d have to be nuts to imagine this.
“Yukizuki, Fuuka, come here.”
“Haha, so bossy.”
“Fufu, it’s thrilling.”
Giggling, the twins sauntered over to my desk—
“So, yeah, I’m Maki’s girlfriend. Don’t waste your time confessing to me—it’s pointless.”
“As Yuzu-nee’s twin sister and a transfer student, I’m also Maki-san’s girlfriend. Nice to meet you all.”
They pressed close, clinging to me with smiles.
It probably looked like I’d claimed them both.
Honestly, if I called them mine, they’d smile and agree.
Their full curves—four, to be exact—pressed against my arms.
“Wha—seriously…? How’d this even happen…?”
Takaya gaped at us, dumbfounded.
The other classmates wore similar expressions.
And then—
““Chu♡””
As a final blow, Yukizuki and Fuuka kissed my cheeks from both sides.
The classroom erupted in louder chaos, the air heating up with excitement.
Well, no turning back now—
“Hahaha, that vibe was insane!”
“Everyone’s faces were incredible. I wish I’d recorded it.”
“You two are so mean…”
I said, but I couldn’t help smirking.
We walked side by side from the school building to the gate.
The twins pressed close, their arms, legs, and soft breasts brushing against me.
Naturally, Yukizuki, the school’s top beauty, her equally stunning twin Fuuka, and me, feared as some evil incarnate—
The rumor that we’re dating spread through the school in under five minutes.
In this SNS-driven era, gossip travels at lightspeed.
“But it’s legit. I’m done hiding.”
“I wanna flirt with Maki-san anytime, anywhere.”
“…Go easy on me. I’ve got an image to maintain.”
The last part’s a joke.
Though, flirting with girls would definitely shatter my image.
My face is just intimidating—I’m not some tough guy, so messing around with girls isn’t an issue.
My finely honed “ignore people’s stares” skill came in handy here.
“My image is the one taking a hit. Nobody expected me to openly cling to a guy like this.”
“Yuzu-nee’s the queen of the school hierarchy. People thought she hated guys since she never dated.”
“Maybe. But Fuuka, you seemed so pure and quiet, yet you’re dating the scary Maki. Total image collapse.”
“Haha, just smash those images to bits.”
“You two say whatever you want.”
Still, a pure beauty dating a delinquent guy (not that I’m one) would shock plenty of people.
If they’re so shocked they’re bedridden, I’m not taking responsibility.
“No matter how much people fuss, it’s nothing compared to our happiness.”
“Exactly. Flirting openly with Maki-san is our happiness.”
“Your mental strength is unreal…”
Maybe it’s not just love the twins have in spades.
Or maybe they complete each other.
“Now the real fun begins. No more sneaking around—we’ll make everyone acknowledge us.”
“Our relationship with Maki-san can’t stay secret forever.”
“…Hold up, are you two hiding something?”
I agreed to go public with our relationship. I didn’t expect it today, but I’m on board.
It’s simple: sneaking around isn’t manly.
If the twins have secrets they want kept, I’ll guard them with my life… but secrets make me curious.
“We’re not hiding anything. We just want to be with you, Maki-san.”
“I don’t want a relationship that ends if it’s exposed. I started feeling that way after you cherished us.”
“It became crystal clear—that’s all.”
That night we passionately embraced, both of them naked, seems to have changed them.
They’ve got something on their minds now, but I don’t know what yet.
“Hey, Maki. We’re technically ojou-sama, you know.”
“I know, but…”
As I hesitated, Yukizuki clung tightly to my arm.
“So, our futures are somewhat set. High school’s the only time we’re free.”
“What…?”
“Our freedom’s limited. We don’t have much time left.”
Now Fuuka clung to me, mirroring her sister.
Time left—like a death sentence.
“We’ll eventually be made to choose separate partners. Someone to spend our futures with.”
“‘Till death do us part,’ that kind of thing.”
They gave a fleeting, lonely smile—
Then, simultaneously, wore a serious expression I’d never seen before.
“Before that, we want our relationship with you—the only one who can cherish us as twins—to be recognized by friends, family—no, by the whole world.”
“Today was the first step. We’ll start by making the school acknowledge us. That’s where it begins.”
“That’s… a grand plan.”
I never imagined the twins were thinking this far ahead.
But it makes sense that ojou-sama like them have their lives planned out.
I understand that our relationship could end in the not-so-distant future.
To stop that future—
“I don’t know what I can do, but I’m not letting you go.”
Other students were all around, but I didn’t care.
I stepped back, firmly gripping their identical, delicate shoulders.
“Yeah, even if you wanted to leave, we’d never let you go. Be ready.”
“Luckily, there’s two of us. We’ll hold you tight.”
They laughed, pressing close again.
With the twins, I kept walking.
The two inside me agreed: being with them is right.
The future’s unclear, but if I can love both at once—
And if they love both of me—
I can move forward without hesitation.

Judging by the content, it seems there is a chapter missing. I looked it up, and there is supposed to be a chapter 10 in this volume. Is there a reason why it isn't here?
