October Progress Update 1
I'm currently working on the characters for the final area. The structure of the final area isn't that complex, but I'm preparing a different mechanic for it.
They are Upper Level crew members who wear outfits like this. They hold higher-ranking positions than the regular crew members.
Regarding the crashes in Demo V1.04 (APK) and V2.04, after investigating the issue, we found that the crashes were being caused by a malfunctioning anti-tampering fail-safe.
There is also another possible cause: if you update the game without uninstalling the previous version first, leftover data from the previous installation may cause the game to crash.
When installing a new version, please uninstall the previous version first, and then install the new one.
I will upload the V2.05 APK version to the paid post, and I will upload V1.04_2 (APK) to this post.
Both of these versions include fixes for the issue where the game crashes immediately after launching, so please try those versions.

Depending on your system environment, or if the Windows "system locale (language for non-Unicode programs)" is set to a language other than Japanese, the game may fail to launch or text may not display correctly.

The cause may be missing Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Packages.

※ Games made with Pixel Game Maker MV (Action Game Maker MV) are generally 32-bit (x86), so installing the x86 version (32-bit version) is especially important. There is no problem with installing the x64 version as well.
※ Your antivirus software may also have quarantined some of the game files. If the game does not launch, please also check your quarantine history.
【③ The game does not launch due to a problem other than those listed above】
Installing the "Pixel Game Maker MV (Action Game Maker MV) Demo" may install the runtime components required to launch the game.

I really like the games you create. I don’t play games all that often—some are good, some are bad—but regardless of their quality, I truly appreciate the act of creating something new. I’m a big fan of your work! I’ll be looking forward to the full release of the game. (I have one question: what version is the demo currently available on Steam?) I would be very grateful for an answer!
Thank you, I'm very happy that you think so highly of it. The Steam version should be 1.04.
But did you also fix it on Steam? Or just here?
The Steam version is V1.04, so it's technically the latest version in the V1 series. I don't plan to release V2 on Steam. Early Access is a hassle in various ways, after all.
Once the upper-level story is completed, will the currently restricted areas in the middle and lower levels be unlocked?
The areas that are off-limits are a way to keep the game's scope within what I'm capable of creating, so the places you can't enter will remain inaccessible for now. Adding every single room would make the game enormous, and both my time and the money I have to live on are limited.

Thanks as always! Yeah, the colors are a bit similar to a chef's outfit, but they're a little different. And since they have tags near their necks, they're a little higher-ranking! Though none of them act bossy. My health isn't too bad at the moment. I'll take care of myself so I can keep working on the project.
