Corset Sew Along is in the works!

The part 1 of the sew along is coming along!!

The goal: helping a beginner sewist or first time corset maker feel comfortable to try and make their own! So please when the video comes out, ask any questions! They will be answered in the comments and on Part 2!

Genuinely this is the first long form video I have ever edited and I am hoping to make it as comprehensive as possible with TWO MODELS, me and Nadine!

This is what is being covered in Part 1:

• taking your own measurements and having someone else take your measurements

• translating your measurement to the pattern

• how to use a french curve ruler

• grading the corset pattern (plus my thought process)

• answering a beginner sewist questions

• Truing a pattern

  • Truing is all about ensuring that the edges, curves, and seam lines of a pattern come together seamlessly during sewing

• Cutting the mockup aka how to cut on the grain

• Tips and tricks to sewing curves

When I say Part 1 covers a heck ton, I MEAN A HECK TON! It is a sew a long with a beginner sewist and this is her second project ever. And honestly, in part 2 you will see her amazing first mock-up. I can't wait to show you all, but for now, here are some silly bloopers as I get comfortable talking to the camera.
