Some bad news...

Hey everyone.

I'll get straight to the point, last night was just one stroke of bad luck after another.

I was in the middle of rendering something for the next update when my screens suddenly went black and the fans on my GPU ramped up to full speed.

I had no idea what was going on, so of course I shut the PC down. When I turned it back on, the fans were spinning normally… but there was no display at all.

So I plugged one of my monitors into the motherboard and realized the graphics card wasn’t being detected anymore.

I tried all the usual fixes: reseating the card, cleaning the PCIe slot, switching the power cables, the whole nine yards, nothing worked. The card just died.

Feeling pretty defeated, I figured I’d just go back to my old 2070 Super. I installed it, hit the power button… and the fans on that card spun up to max while the PC refused to POST.

Confused, I pulled the card back out and then noticed that while I was messing around earlier, I’d accidentally ripped a component clean off the motherboard…

Yeah. My PC is completely fucked.
