What If We’ve Been Underusing Fields This Entire Time?

I Built Something That Changes How You Can Use Fields & Subliminals

TL;DR .... I built the listening system I always wished existed for fields, subliminals and energetic audios and some of you will get to use it today!

I've been working on an app called Ritual that I originally built for myself, and I think a lot of people here are going to find it useful.

At its core, Ritual lets you import subliminals, Sapien Medicine audios, energetic fields, hypnosis tracks, meditation audios, or really anything else you listen to regularly, then organize them into customized playlists. You can control how long each audio plays, add visuals, layer soundscapes underneath them, and use a few optional features that can make the experience more active or immersive.

The reason I built it is pretty simple. A lot of us have collected absurd amounts of audios over the years. Eventually you end up with folders everywhere, giant playlists, different creators, different intentions, and routines that become longer and more complicated than they need to be.

Ritual lets you turn that into something much simpler. Instead of having an abundance playlist that's two hours long, maybe you take four different audios and play each one for three or five minutes. You can make a 10 or 15-minute routine out of material that would normally take an hour.

Sometimes I don't think you necessarily need to listen to every single second of every audio every time. There are times when I'd rather have a shorter, more intentional exposure to several things than let a massive playlist run endlessly in the background.

That said, Ritual isn't only meant for active listening. If you like playing fields or subliminals passively while working, sleeping, gaming or doing something else, you can absolutely use it that way. At the basic level, it's simply a much better way of organizing and customizing your listening experience.

Where it gets more interesting is when you want to actively work with something.

One thing I've always found interesting is the use of image fields and symbolic images. Sapien Medicine released quite a few energetic fields through images over the years, but I don't think many people really explored what you can actually do with them.

The practice itself goes much further back than energy fields. Across different spiritual and mystical traditions, people have used yantras, mandalas, icons, sacred geometry, occult symbols and other images as focal points for meditation, prayer, contemplation and connection.

The basic idea is simple. Instead of treating the image as something you casually glance at, you place your attention on it. You can stare toward the center, soften your gaze, meditate with it, or simply keep it present while you practice.

So imagine listening to an abundance field while an image associated with abundance is directly in front of you. Your hearing is focused on the intention, your visual attention is focused on the intention, and your mind is staying within the same general space instead of wandering somewhere completely unrelated.

For people who work with these things energetically, you can take that idea even further. Many mystical traditions have treated particular symbols and images as ways of connecting with specific qualities, forces, deities or spiritual ideas. Ritual basically takes that ancient idea and combines it with the audio practices we're already using.

I've started building a library of these images directly into the app, including sacred geometry, yantras, planetary symbols, Kabbalistic imagery, runes, religious imagery and other mystical symbols. They also include descriptions explaining what the image is and what it has traditionally been associated with.

You can also use your own images, so if you already have an image field you work with, you can simply load it into Ritual and keep it on screen while the corresponding audio plays.

And this is where it gets especially interesting with Sapien's image fields. Let's say you have an Attract Abundance image field and you're also listening to an Attract Abundance audio. You can put the image directly on screen while that audio is playing and essentially layer the same intention through two different mediums at once. From the energetic way we already understand these fields, I think of this almost like an amplifier.... you're receiving the audio field while simultaneously interacting with the image field, and if you're actively keeping your attention on the center of that image, you're engaging with it even more deliberately.

Instead of abundance being something playing somewhere in the background, your sound, vision and attention are all being directed toward the same field and intention. And even if you're listening passively, you can simply leave the image present while the audio runs.

You don't need to stare at it like your life depends on it either. 😂 The point is focused attention when you want it. You can meditate with the image, occasionally return your attention to it, or completely ignore the visual and listen passively. The app doesn't force one style of practice.

And honestly, I could make a lot more posts just breaking down the different ways you can use this app because the possibilities go pretty deep. Even something as simple as focusing on the center of an image, noticing when your attention drifts, and bringing it back becomes a concentration practice in itself. It's one of the most powerful meditation techniques and it is made easier here with the center point and bilateral circles next to it. Actively doing this actually allows you to get 15 minutes of an audio field in just several minutes. You'll connect with the field energetically far more powerfully.

Add the bilateral visualization moving across the screen and now you're training attention, visual tracking and sensory integration at the same time. This synchronizes both hemispheres of the brain, which opens new pathways i your brain to change and increases integration with a field.

Then you have the breathing and pranayama options. These are simple enough that you can use them even while listening passively or doing something else. You just follow the inhale and exhale cues while the field is playing, which gives the whole session a rhythmic structure and keeps bringing you back into your body and the present moment.

There are much deeper ways of working with breath and synchronized breathing that I'll make separate posts and videos about, but even casually following along can make the session feel more focused, energized and integrated.

There are also a few extra tools built around the listening experience. You can add soundscapes like ocean waves underneath audios that might otherwise be unpleasant or repetitive to listen to. There is optional bilateral stimulation that alternates from side to side while you listen, and the breathing modes can sit over the audio without becoming distracting.

So an active session could become an audio field playing, a visual in front of you, subtle ocean waves underneath it, breathing automatically guided, and optional bilateral stimulation on top.

Or you can turn all of that off and just play your playlist.

That's really the philosophy behind Ritual. You choose how deep you want to go.

I've spent years around fields, subliminals, meditation and different forms of inner work, and one thing I've noticed is that we have enormous libraries of tools but very little infrastructure for actually using them well. People collect hundreds of audios, add more every week, build enormous playlists and eventually don't even know what they're supposed to be listening to anymore.

I wanted something that turns all of that into an actual routine.

Instead of having 600 files sitting around, you might have a 15-minute morning abundance ritual, a 10-minute confidence routine, a sleep playlist and a meditation session. You press play and everything is already set up the way you want it.

This is still a beta, so I'm going to keep refining it based on how people actually use it. The first version is for Android, and I'm also working toward a web version so iPhone and desktop users will be able to use it as well.

Even if you can't use the app yet, you can still experiment with the principle manually. Pick a few audios around one intention, shorten the session if you need to, choose an image or symbol that fits what you're working with, and spend a few minutes actually focusing on the experience instead of automatically letting everything become background noise.

You may still prefer passive listening, and that's completely fine. Ritual is really just about giving you more control over how you use these tools and helping turn a collection of audios into something you can actually practice consistently.

Android users: I’ve attached the Ritual beta below for you to try. Since this is being distributed directly through Patreon rather than the Google Play Store right now, Android may ask you to allow installation from this source. Depending on your phone, look for something like “Allow from this source” or “Install unknown apps” in your security/settings when prompted, then you should be able to install it normally. Only enable this for the app/source you’re intentionally using, rather than broadly allowing random downloads.

This is still a beta, so expect some things to change as I keep testing and improving it. I’m also working on both an Apple/iPhone version and a web version, so if you can’t use the Android version yet, you’re not being left out.

Feedback please! To those who try it out, please give feedback. And although not guaranteed I can do it... please also leave suggestions for features you might also want. This is to be the go to app for people who listen to subliminals & audio fields. So this is your project too! Contribute by adding your thoughts or ideas.

Sammy, the reason why I haven't try it out is because I'm used to the sound quality of my Jetaudio+ player with its premium sound plugins. I find that sound quality helps deepen the immersion while meditating to the fields (playlist). I'll try the app and give feedback soon. Thanks for creating it.

So you're implying file length doesn't matter? But is this true for all fields..?
