I'm coming today with a Poll about Paralives and a very small gift for you all ✨

I’m one of those people who waited years for Paralives to hit Early Access. I was even a Patron way back then! 😂 May 25th, 2026, was circled in bright red on my calendar, and I’d budgeted for it months in advance.

Now, as an Alpha CC creator, I’ve gotta admit I wasn't sold on the art style at first. I found it beautiful and super cosy, sure, but I kept thinking, "Yeah, no... there's zero chance I'll ever want to make CC for this game. I absolutely HATE stylised wood textures." 😂🙈

But... I bought it anyway. Cut to right now: I'm already 17 hours in.

I started out on an empty lot and immediately cheated my bank account down to 0 Parathunes (as we say in French) ... just to see what it was like. I mean, it’s doable, but it’s not exactly fun. Well, actually, it is 😂 but it's so frustrating to not build or decorate!

Now that my character has finally climbed the ranks in the software development career, I’ve been able to start building the facade of my very first house. It’s heavily—and I mean heavily—inspired by the actual house I grew up in. It’s basically the same setup: red brick, three stories high, narrow townhouse style, and a navy blue front door. Just... slightly more chic and fancy, if you know what I mean 😛

I’ve even managed to start working on the entryway and the living room. Honestly, between her tech job and the paintings she sells for 2,300 Parathunes a piece, we’re actually doing pretty well! 😂

There was just one hitch: when it came to decorating the entryway walls with artwork, I hit a wall: I didn't like any of the in-game options. Fortunately, importing your own images into this game is incredibly easy.

You see, my mom was, and still is, obsessed with anything that reminds her of the ocean. In another house we lived in, she even decorated my entire bedroom in a beach theme, complete with a bookshelf shaped like a coastal beach hut! So, naturally, I had no choice but to make some custom coastal-themed posters for this build 😛

HOW TO INSTALL:

• Download the .zip file provided at the end of this post.

• Unzip / Extract the folder anywhere on your computer.

• In-game, interact with a picture frame or poster, select the option to load a custom image, and simply browse to the folder where you extracted the files to import them.

My Instagram and YouTube feeds have been ABSOLUTELY FLOODED with Paralives content since May 25th, and I’m honestly shocked by the massive amount of uploads already on the Steam Workshop.
