Otakoo tawk

If you like Kentaro's art in Berserk, you'd really like the art in BLAME! I'm not adding emphasis, they put the ❗ on the end lol there's little dialogue, but it's a large manga. Physically large. My guess is to accommodate for the art detail.

My thoughts drift towards "Negima!" for winter nostalgia. A good boy-to-man type of story. "Keyman" is awesome, and Atsushi Ohkubo's works will always be a go to chuuni fix for me. I'm not watching anything current right now, but another good manga that came to mind was "SoreMachi", or "And Yet the Town Moves".

Recently i just finished watching the Alien 9 ova and omg i got intrigued, im checking the manga later.. i also just discovered the term “dark moe”

oh man Claymore is fantastic, I never fully read the manga but I remember how amazing the art is still! edgerunners S2 was something I was a little worried about since I thought they might just try to one-up S1, but they ended up doing something quite different, I really enjoyed it. there's quite a few good seasonals these past few (*￣3￣)╭ it feels good keeping up with anime again.. aside from recent shows, I've finally been hunkering down and finishing both Hare+Guu and Slayers!! hareguu is a very toony comedy and slayers is fantasy adventure comedy, both are silly but still have moments where you connect with the characters.. I'm also coming up on my yearly Comic Party rewatch. even if it's dumb it turned into one of my comfort anime somehow! it gives me a really warm feeling seeing old doujin culture's first real representation in a story.. it inspires me in a way! in terms of manga I'm reading The Summer Hikaru Died (very good) and rereading Blame! (AMAZING art..) I'd recommend both if you haven't read them! also Tower Dungeon!

My Favorite Horror Manga is Remina from junji ito! the way the some of the reveals are told stuck with me for a long time, I also think "i am a hero" is a really good zombie manga, it was one of the fist manga ive read, they even made a live action movie of it in japan that was pretty fun

I think the first 2 are right up your alley! The elf picks up a heavy knight Doku doku mori mori I kept spoiling a female knight who knew nothing but fighting Renge to naruto

Oh I forgot about Pumpkin Knight, never finished it though. I'll definitely check out the Claymore Manga and Edgrunners as well. The only thing I've read recently is the new manga tkmiz is working on, Fragments of the Layered City, its a prequel to Girls Last Tour and it's pretty good so far. I also got the collectors edition of Girls last tour and reread that a few months ago. Thanks for the recommendations!

Thanks for the heads up on the Claymore author releasing a new series! I loved claymore, it was one of those first anime/manga series that I watched that wasn't the "Big 3" when I was just getting into anime decades ago. I keep forgetting about the new season of cyberpunk, I gotta set some time aside for it. I don't really watch much anime currently, or at least current seasonal stuff. But I would recommend Sora No Woto (Sound of the Sky), and Girls und Panzer if you haven't seen them already. Both are two of my absolute favourite anime. Currently I'm more of reading manga in bed on my phone kinda guy. There's loads that I'd recommend, hopefully you find one you like! - Anything by Satoshi Mizukami (all time favourite mangaka...cursed to have bad anime adapatations) - Tower Dungeon - The Bugle Call: Song of War - My Wife has no emotion ( cute series about a guy who falls in love with a domestic robot) - Jigokuraku - Helck - Vagabond - Aijin - Stravaganza: Isai no Hime - I am a Hero - Solanin

Claymore the anime was sooo good and I've always read wonders about the manga. I think it's about time I pick it up too because Berserku is one of my favorites (not following it after Miura passing away ;;) Pumpkin night sounds perfect for a horror night and I'm always down for some ridiculous over the top gorefest. Recently I've been casually rereading some of Katekyo Hitman. The art in it is gorgeous and it feels so notalgic. If you're in the mood for some shonenslop/turn your brain off 2000s experience, I reccomend it. Not the whole thing tho because it drops the ball HARD later arcs. Cyberpunk I'll watch for the ss undertones hehe

I really miss reading but i just haven't found something to really capture me like I did years ago. Im gonna keep looking though cause I miss those day long binge reads where I get completely immersed.

I haven’t watched season 2 of cyberpunk yet because I had heard mixed things, I’m relieved you like it though so I’ll pick it up soon

gun x sword is a fun mecha anime and armored troopers votoms good some cool mecha designs and for some fantasy try record of lodoss war and for a horror one try blood+ its cool

I really like the claymore an check out the manga and cyberpunk season 2 is good the character designs are awesome I'll have to keep an eye out for some good anime was to sucked into wow beta to do much else I'll have to check out pumpkin night

Pumpkin Night is a really fun read, great recommendation! I'll make sure to check Franken Fall, the design for the main heroine is pretty cute... Voynich Hotel is a good halloween read, Imperfect Girl is another really creepy read, I feel like there's a chance you'd like both of them. I need to check Edgrunners s2 but the bad reviews killed my hype, I'll have to take your word for it! AND ALSO!, Haruko Ichikawa (houseki no kuni) is finally starting a new manga this very next month ;; it's gonna be another Neo-Kawaii Sci-fi called "Cosmic Mimimi", i am so unbelivably excited about it, she's my favorite manga author EVER, I could rant about houseki's body horror and buddhist messages for literal hours... and don't get me started on the art, aaaa.

I'll check Yagi's new work out! I've always favored that Medieval aesthetic, its why I prefer the Golden age arc to some of the later parts of Berserk 🙂‍↕️ Also really enjoyed the New Cyberpunk too, the designs felt very 90s (Talia's huge air vents) and I think the crew had more synergy this go around!

I've never actually seen or read Claymore but I've heard people talking about it over the years and it's always praise! I've been pretty bad about keeping up with anime the last few years and I kinda miss it sometimes. Looking at the anime this season and coming up, a lot of them are "I am in a fantasy world and my party hates me" for some reason lmao But besides SBR I've been watching Student Council Has Holes, it's really just a simple ecchi anime with quick bits, but it's kind of refreshing because I feel like there hasn't been one of those in a long time? At least not one that leans into it just to be pervy

Idk if this is your cup of tea but I've been on a lovey dovey romance manga kick recently and one of the ones I'm reading is called Tonari no Kurokawa-san. Without saying too much, it's about a sheltered girl from a well esteemed family discovering her love of manga with help from the MC. I love the cute art style and the bond that the MC and FMC develops because of their shared secret. It's something you read at like 2am and then you realize it's 8.

Even The Student Council Has Holes has been a fun watch this season, really fun raunchy comedy with fast humor and best girl. Jaadugar was also an amazing watch, it's an incredibly beautiful show and a fun premise, I can't think of many media covering the Mongolian empire.

I also liked Edgerunners S2! I've actually been wrapped up in NIKKE's story lately since its their 4th anniversary, its really really good despite being a gacha game.

Oh snap i forgot about claymore. I was reading that during the pandemic. I'll take this as a sign to finish it. For gore or at least action manga I like Murcielago (its getting an anime soon iirc)

Omg that all sounds so good I'll have to check them out! I've been watching Naruto Shippuden for the first time and I'm at a pretty fun part in it. I just love the side characters especially! How much JoJo's have you read/seen? Part 7's anime is being released and I really like it so far (it's my favorite part!)
