I made the pumpkin pudding pie for my family over the weekend! They loved it so much they assigned me to pie duty for Thanksgiving lol. The pie was really tasty, its my favorite version of a pumpkin pie now! I was a little skeptical about how the texture would turn out when making it because of the flour in the filling, but i really like how it set and how the pumpkin flavor comes through. The orange test paired surprisingly well with the pumpkin flavor too.  Next time I make it, I want to try making candies orange peel to zest for the topping. And I'll be making fresh spiced whip cream like a lot more for other dishes! Thank you for sharing the recipe! 💗 I was fun trying it out. My family is thankful for it too! Here's some photos if you want to take a look at how it turned out:  https://imgur.com/a/nkaJwFg https://imgur.com/a/aNkGxZY

Here's my recipe for that sweet potato bread I made recently. Its really simple and tasty! It will definitely make your kitchen smell like Autumn! Its a good way to use up left over mashed sweet potatoes. I'm going to try remaking ot with purple sweet potato in the next few weeks. I'll let you know how that goes. Hope you like it! Fall Sweet Potato Bread 🍂🍠 Wet ingredients: 1/2 cup vegetable oil 2 large eggs 1 cup cooked, mashed sweet potatoes 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Dry ingredients: 1 teaspoon baking soda 3/4 teaspoon salt 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour 1 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon 3/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (fresh ground if you have it) 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves 1/2 teaspoon cardamom 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional) Preheat oven to 350. Grease (I use butter) and flour loaf pan. Whisk oil, sugar and eggs till smooth.  Add mashed sweet potato and vanilla. Whisk till smooth. Sprinkle in baking soda and salt. Stir till combined. Add remaining dry ingredients, mix till smooth. Be careful not to over mix.  Gently fold in pecans if you decide to add them Bake for 50-70 mins. Check with tooth pick in the middle to see when it's done. Remove from pan and let loaf cool and rest on wire rack before cutting it.

That pie recipe sounds delicious! I was planning to try making pumpkin pie this fall since I've never had it, but hadn't decided on a recipe yet. I'll def be using yours now!! Thanks for sharing it and thanks for making it look so cute lol. Can't wait to give it a try! If you like cardamon I'd def recommend Persian Love Cake. I've never made it, but I have had it at coffee shops before, it's really nice and fragrant. I bet it'd make your place smell amazing while it bakes. https://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/persian_love_cake_84924 Hope you have nice time with your family today and all enjoy the pie!

I was thinking of making a pie too actually. Last weekend I went to pick blackberries from the tree near my house. I took some pics with little menachu too hehe. I didn't get too many berries as I was alone and they are really high up BUT I did get enough for one pie I believe. I wonder if I can use some of the techniques from your recipe but with blackberries. I'll let you know this upcoming weekend how it comes out. Thank you for sharing your autumn enthusiasm, it always motivates me to try new stuff

ooo I think i'll make this! I'm always looking for more desserts for the fall! I recently made these pumpkin crumb cookies and they were SUPER good. I made too much of the crumb but i was able to melt it down with some extra maple syrup to turn it into a drizzle and it worked out super well! https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/pumpkin-crumb-cake-cookies/ And I made these apple pie bars last year and they were my favorite thing I made. I want to make them again soon. I highly recommend them!! https://sallysbakingaddiction.com/salted-caramel-apple-pie-bars/
