Dev Update - 08/19/2026
Hi everyone,
I hope you're all having a fantastic week so far!
I've had a lot of questions lately about when the Chapter III - Rework is releasing and whether I have an estimated release date yet.
The answer is: not quite yet.
I don't want to give you guys a date until I'm confident I can hit it, so I'll wait until the update is around 90% complete before announcing anything concrete.
That being said, I can give you a better idea of where things currently stand.
Let's talk numbers.
The original Chapter III had around 180 renders.
The Chapter III - Rework is currently on track to have 400+ renders.
For comparison, both the Chapter I and Chapter II reworks ended up at roughly 250 renders each, so Chapter III is turning into a considerably bigger update than either of them.
Right now, I've completed around 250 renders, which already puts Chapter III at roughly the size of an entire previous rework — and there's still a lot left to come.
Producing this many new renders in such a short timeframe is definitely draining, but I'm committed to getting this finished as quickly as I can. I'm clocking a lot of hours every day working on it, and I'm very happy with how everything is coming together.
More importantly, the extra size isn't just there for the sake of having more renders.
There's a lot of new and expanded content in this rework, with scenes being fleshed out considerably compared to the original Chapter III. So even if you've already played the old version, everything here will feel new.
This chapter will also serve as the stopping point for the Steam demo, which is another reason I want to make sure it leaves a strong impression.
By the time it's finished, Chapter III should be roughly comparable in size to some of the newer updates like Chapter 6, Chapter 7 - Part I, and Chapter 7 - Part II, which I'm extremely happy about considering where the original version started.
There's still work to be done, but I'm genuinely really excited for you guys to finally play this one.
And believe me, I also can't wait until these reworks are behind us so I can turn my full attention back to the finale of Chapter 7 that you've all been waiting for.
It'll be worth the wait.

When the chapter 8 is coming
This is amazing news! But after you rework all the chapters and the finale of Chapter 7, will the game be done? Like totally completed? the doesn't feel like it's anywhere near to be finished tbh, so what's the plan?
having an issue my old safe files give me a error code incompetiable or some is that fixable?
Old saves are not compatible with the reworked version.
Boss, take the time you need for this great work, you don't disappoint.
Just dropping a small comment. However may I be inpatient for this awesome story to continue and escalate with the bang, I really appreciate the fact that you're reworking and polishing chapters cause however the original issue was great it was very linear for the most part, so kudos man. I am the kinda guy who likes to explore the complete branching of every game and replay in all possible scenarios, so this is absolutely worth the wait. That being said, keep up the amazing work... we'll wait!!!
Hi Dev, how are you? I'm happy to see your enthusiasm for this project and I hope you achieve your goals! Now, let's talk numbers... Due to the new renderings, how big do you think the game will be for smartphones and PCs? Because if we analyze it based on the numbers you posted above, the new renderings are more than double the current size!
Well the size will increase. For PC, I doubt it'll ever be over 5 GB. For Android, I'll have to compress the images a bit more so that it never goes above 2 GB which I believe is the limit for Android.
so correct me if I'm wrong, reworks will go up to chapter 7? and then the story will continue from where it left off? or because of the changes to the story and the way it plays out now will chapter 7 also be changed a bit?
Chapter 7 will change a bit.
Are chapters 4 and onward waiting to be reworked too? I loved the Ch1&2 reworks.
Chapter 4 will be reworked. Chapter 5 and 6 will be reworked, but mainly on the visual side after the Chapter 7 finale.
I’ve loved the reworks so far. More dialogue, a better-developed story and choices make it worth the wait, in my opinion. I’m really looking forward to Chapter III ✌️
