First of all, respect to the creator, Remtairy, the artist Sachinama and the others who made this game! (I’m not sure how long development took, but I imagine it was quite a while.)
The real challenge in what I’ve been working on isn’t the programming, the maps, or anything like that that part is super easy! The truly difficult part is actually creating the scenes using the layer system and all the variations.
One scene for Karry Prison is equivalent to 3 or 4 scenes from Unholy Maiden (SOP)

This scene has 90 layers
Luckily, the remaining scenes (poses 2 and 3) are simpler and further along in development. The main things that made this particular scene difficult were the perspective and the composition plus, it’s a full-body, wide-angle shot. "I’ll keep this in mind for future scenes"; poses 2 and 3 are already better executed in that regard.
To be honest, considering this is the first scene and I’m still getting used to the style, it’s not bad at all though I do need to make a few small adjustments to some of the layers.
