CHOOSE YOUR GREEN LANTERN
The Lantern series is soooooooooo fucking good, and I've been itching to start working on it. I've got the basic premise down: a Guardian reaches out to Cauldron because of the existence of Scion and the entities and promises them that should they find someone who isn't afraid, they will be given the Green Lantern ring, the most powerful weapon in existence. But try as they might, neither the Triumvirate nor Contessa nor anyone else can wield the ring because they have triggered, so they look towards the new generation of untriggered kids. Some things might change but that's the gist of it.

I actually agree with some of the others are are saying Taylor right now is basically been used way too many times in green lantern fics and there are at least two green lantern fics right now with Taylor as a green lantern. I would go rather than with some of the other characters I would say go the SI very cool with a self insert. There’s only maybe one or two fics out there that I found that have that particular route info and I think it would be more interesting to go that route then to go with one of the typical worm characters.

I’d say to avoid Taylor for right now. There is currently a pretty big fic on Space Battles featuring Taylor as Green Lantern. Now I’m not saying you can’t do it just because someone else has already done it, but the other options on this list for possible Green Lantern candidates are super interesting. I’m partial to Greg as you can probably have a lot of Kyle Rayner vibes with him and Brian as there’s not a lot of fics featuring him as a protagonist.

Honestly I’ll pick dean. Think about it. A person whose power connects and deals with the entire emotional spectrum, introduced to the power of a lantern ring, the embodiment of emotions. Who knows what highs ( and depths) he could reach with that? (And tbh Taylor getting every alt power has been done to death already, let’s do something new for once please?)
