Status Update - Proof of Life
Hey everyone! 👋
We just wanted to make a quick post to let you know that Update 0.5 is still in active development. Progress has been steady every day, even if we haven't been posting much lately.
This aims to be a big update. Maybe not in terms of the amount of content, but in the type and quality of it. Every new scene keeps getting more complex, with more images, more animations/GIFs, more branches, and more variables to keep track of. Because of that, crafting each event is taking much longer than it did in previous updates.
To give you an idea of the scale, Beach Tier 2 (Yellow Bikini) ended up with a little over 160 images, while Beach Tier 3 has already grown to more than 400 images. And that's just one location! 🏖️
The goal has always been to improve the quality of every update instead of simply adding more content. That means spending more time polishing scenes, creating better animations, and making interactions feel more immersive, while also giving you, the player, more meaningful choices. ✨
We know many of you are eager to play Update 0.5, and we really appreciate your patience and continued support. Your support allows us to focus on making the best update we can instead of rushing it. ❤️

It seems like Frission and Bored Samanti just lost their drive to make games. Both of them have almost a year since the last update. Both of them don't talk to their Patreons. Both of them don't talk to their discord users. Both of them are still happily taking your money... Can't support it anymore... I also make a waitress game. Mine also has a massage mini game. It also has stats that track with every interaction. A full blown story with collectibles. Animations. Many outfits you can choose from. Stores to buy things. And I'm still putting out an update every month, talk to my Discord users daily. And post to Patreon every day... There's absolutely no reason you can't message people once a week while you're taking their money... Think with your wallets people. Start supporting devs that respect your time...

If there are more than 400 images, perhaps sharing one to paying Patrons would be a reasonable action at this stage? All the best 🫰🏻

Unfortunately its become too common on this platform for members to support a game for years, just for it to sputter out and disappear. While the update is appreciated, in the end we're still sinking in funds for words in return. I will be updating my membership from Tier 6 down to 1 or 2 till we get something reasonable. I'm sorry if it seems selfish but we are also working for these funds that we donate to your cause. Unlike real world investors we aren't asking for monthly in depth reports, just something showing that our investments aren't going to nothing. I mean even you gotta realize its been more than half a year since we've gotten anything but polls. In the end its up to you how things are run.
Tier 6 is absurd....I don't know how you do it for so long when there is no update in exchange. They did not even speak for six months and we have not seen one image from 0.5.0 If the update comes out in November or December, I will be playing GTA6 any way....there is no excitement for this game Their marketing is very poor

I am ever surprised at how long creators manage to string patrons along with no new content. 7 months and people are still paying ? what ever for ? Frisson is in no way unique in this, there are soooo many games that never see completion and end up abandoned after 8-10 years. But jesus christ there is so much to chose from, i dont see why anone would support any creator who does not post a single update in 7 months. And even now he has stated it will be a minimal update. I suppose you just have to trow your money at him for another 5 years before the girl actually performs a sexual act.
I agree....I don't like paying outside of content updates because that leads to bad behavior and laziness I want to pay for the update to be faster but instead it becomes slower and slower....and it is shameful there is no value anymore for precious time and patience. When the post says update is "not big in terms of the amount of content"....you must be prepared to make your own financial decision This is why if you give me updates, I will give you money, or not at all
i feel like this is going to be a very pivotal update. if there isn't sufficient content or meaningful progression to the story/state of corruption/advancement of relationships, i can see a lot of people who have been holding off or on the fence, stop supporting after. I genuinely hope the update delivers and adds these things. 7 months, for whatever reasons you may have provided, is simply too long if the resulting update is just more of the same.
I agree....but they said ""not in terms of the amount of content""....so it will not be a big giant update like people are expecting the developer does not understand how important this update is for the future. If it fails, people will not wait for another one year for 0.6.0....they will cancel the subscription because the next update is so far away and the corruption was not enough I sincerely urge them to take it seriously....otherwise 2027 will be a very hard year

This is what I’m talking about. Just a simple message to let em know you’re working. I’m also making a waitress game like yours and Corruption Town. The thing I hear the most on Patreon is how much people appreciate how open I am with them. So it’s a top priority for people to get posts like this. I hope you guys continue to just give your Patreons updates like this. It’ll really help you guys in the long run. We all want you to be successful.

Before, I have been supporting this game. Now, there was so much confusion from everyone about whether there will be an update or not. So, first: thanks so much for this sign of life. I literally can't wait to see the update and evolve the story. Second: is there anything you can give us? A timeline? An idea for a deadline that people can hold onto? It would make a lot of sense for me also in terms of supporting this game.

Keep up that focus. Of course, we are all eager for the update. But the game is very promising in terms of quality, and it’s not worth ruining everything just because of impatience for the launch. Keep up the good work so it’s worth it in the end.

With utmost respect, a good proof of life would be showing us a teaser from 0.5.0 🤔 Look from our perspective please....it has been 7 months and we have not seen anything new from 0.5.0. If you do not wish to spoil the entire game, I agree to keep it a secret....but surely one or two images cannot hurt? is that too much to ask? You are asking us to trust you based on words and only words I do not doubt your ability to deliver the update and I know you will not disappoint....but I cannot feel excited for something I have not seen. It is like your birthday wish as a kid....you think your parents will buy you a playstation or xbox but they bring something else and that day is ruined
Seconded, a proof of life is all well in good but since you have been charging people for so long without even that, I feel like a proof of PROGRESS is warranted. If nothing else you can put spoiler in the title or something. Be able to please both parties

This game is gonna be insane on full release
There won't be a full release. This game walks the same path as Defenestration...after .5 update the chances are this game will be abandoned too. Probably some new "health problems" will occur or some new life hurdles and that will be game over (of course after milking some more money from fans).
