Status update

Hey everyone!

First of all, we know we've been really quiet lately... and honestly, six months is a long time without a proper update. We completely understand why some of you were frustrated, worried, or simply wondering what was going on.

The good news is: the project is alive and well, and we've been working on it the entire time (except for the break we took during January). 🌸

One thing we want to be honest about is that the silence was, at least in part, a conscious decision. This time around, we chose not to post teasers or spoilers during development.

Looking back, maybe it wasn't the best choice, and we completely understand why many of you would've preferred seeing progress along the way. Our reasoning was simple: after sharing so many teasers in previous updates, we felt that showing too much too early could take away some of the surprise and excitement once the update was finally released.

Whether that was the right call or not is something we're still not entirely sure about. So please, let us know what you think. Your feedback might honestly become the tie-breaker in some of the discussions we've been having lately.

Besides development itself, life has also been pretty rough for both of us these past months. Personal problems, family health issues, and just a lot of things happening all at once. We don't really want to go into details, mostly because we don't want it to sound like we're throwing excuses around. Everyone has problems, and at the end of the day, what matters is the game and delivering something we're proud of. Still, those things definitely slowed us down.

The important part is that things are much more organized now. Our workflow is in a better place, our schedules are more stable, and development has been moving along much more smoothly lately. 💪

There's still work left to do, so we don't want to announce a release date yet.

We've learned that giving a date too early only creates pressure, and sometimes life simply doesn't care about schedules. We'd rather stay quiet than promise something we can't deliver.

However, there is one thing we can say with complete confidence:

💜 The update is coming this year. 💜

If things continue going well, maybe September or October. But please don't take that as a promise written in stone.

We just want to be transparent with all of you.

So, to make up a little for our silence, here's a small devlog of what we've been working on:

Thank you to everyone who stayed with us despite the silence. Thank you to those who complained too, honestly — it means you still care about the game, and that's something we never take for granted.

We'll do our best to keep a healthier workflow from now on.

Thank you for your patience and support.

See you soon! 💜

R
Rush88 · June 23, 2026

I've seen something done somewhere else that goes like this: maybe a pic then Writing: 85% Animation: 50% Coding: 25% Etc.... every couple weeks or once a month just to keep everyone updated

P
Patrick · June 22, 2026

Your game is pretty much the best one I've played in my opinion. I love your bar "mini" game and how you handle the progression of angel. Also her model is gorgeous so cudos for your animation as well. I really hope you guys go the distance. I think you have the foundation for a beautiful, fun and sexy game with a real refinement of the female MC corruption genre. If you guys communicate regularly I think your patreons will stick with you and grow. For me at least, if I see consistency and communication I'm very keen to support you all

NerdUnderAWindow · June 21, 2026

A month update would be nice, like a progress percentage. No spoilers in what's to come but like a "Hey we are doing well and are at around 40% complete with this update. Etc etc etc" talking a bit about how the work is going or if therr are any issues etc, just something to let us know things are going well and progress is good

A
Adam Hacys · June 19, 2026

I like status updates regularly - doesn't have to foreshadow any content or spoil anything, just a bit of "our work is moving smoothly" or "we have certain roadblocks". For me it doesn't have to even be on a monthly basis (though prefereable) but it can't be every 6 months. If you prefer to not give any update, then you'd have to have a good release schedule you follow like update every 6 months. Then, after 2-3 updates which deliver in line with schedule, I would be also more trustworthy. Buy I don't know any project which would be delivering everything on the regular basis without a hitch.

I don't understand how people are still supporting your project. I have to pay monthly, but I am left into the dark not knowing what is happening with your game paying monthly for it? If somebody is paying monthly subscription to your game you should update them monthly several times a month even.

L
Lust game · June 15, 2026

Please increase subway events..

H
Hackupself · June 15, 2026

Developing a game in RenPy shouldn't be difficult for developers. Players love the graphics and storyline. Why bother with complex code? Release one event a month, and everyone will be happy. Or say, "We'll update the game once a year. We'll finish it by the end of the 21st century."

N
Ner'rull · June 15, 2026

For some, tape is important because if you do it right, it increases the excitement. Going completely without it is bad because it gives the feeling that there's a lot of talk and nothing behind it. And yes, six months of silence wasn't a good decision. Because so many people assume it's a dead end. There are far too many projects that have been quietly abandoned. Regularly posting preview images is recommended so people can see that you're working on it. But that's just my opinion, and what do I know? ;)

M
Maceis · June 15, 2026

Glad you guys are back thanks for the update

W
WeLikeLead · June 15, 2026

Personally I understand the rationale you laid out in your post, over teasing can indeed desensitise the player to the content when it invariably drops, or at least visually. I would move forward with something on a monthly basis as others have suggested, however I would shy away from visual teasers and instead keep it to text, simply as a check in so supporters know everything is still alive and well.

D
Damo · June 15, 2026

I'm sorry to hear things have been tough, and I hope things ease up for you. For what it's worth, it was the contrast between the high level of conversation in the run up to the December update and the complete radio silence which followed that people found hard. I think we had started to expect a level of contact and were confused by the change. Going forward, a few teasers here and there will be appreciated - there's no need for any more that that. All the best to you.

What I'm hoping to see is the young roommate cumming in her pasta. She notices it, but to avoid making a scene, she eats it anyway. With a nice close-up of her mouth as she swallows a mouthful of cum. Yes, I'm disgusting, no, I'm not ashamed.

A
Azure · June 14, 2026

I hope if we still have to wait until October that we finally get some actually sex events and focus on the bar and subway since they seem to be so close.

D
D Fish · June 14, 2026

Progress updates could be made available without teasers or details. Just so we know the project is not dead.

A
Asator666 · June 14, 2026

going from one extreme to the other wasn't a smart idea. just show a sign of life once per month with some progress informations, but nit telling everything should be the best option to satisfy everyone.

C
Cracklemere · June 14, 2026

Show us your progress please. You can limit previews but the evidence of continued work is very important to provide to people paying to support a project.

G
Gephyx · June 14, 2026

Teaser or no teaser, the important thing is that people understand the project hasn't been abandoned. A couple of lines of info a month seems fair to me, and even better, a weekly update for those who financially support the project.

E
Edhinor76 · June 14, 2026

As many have said, you can give updates without giving spoilers. One of the creators I follow gives percentages, like what % of writing is done, what percent of renders done... etc, without giving details, and he does this monthly. Then every now and then gives smaller updates with a couple renders not related to the game but with festive clothing or something like that. Going silent for several months in a row is really bad practice when you depend on donations from people. You have to build trust, have open communication and create a sense of community. Maybe after each update come with a plan, how many new events will be in the next update? 10? 20? announce that, without telling us where they will go (bar, beach, subway... whatever). Then monthly you tell us how many you have completed. If you did less than usual explain why? busy with real life? PC issues? reworking stuff? something so we connect with you, see where you are, challenges you face, and what progress is being done on the game. Then, if it is summer, give us a render of Angel at the beach, or if school is starting, a render of her dressed as a school girl, or about to celebrate halloween, or christmas... whatever you come up with. Create images we can use as background on desktop/phone, create small polls, even if they are not binding, just to see what the community prefers, what content you should focus on....etc. Keep the communication open, and people will be loyal to you and keep their memberships up. Go silent and.....

k
kospac · June 14, 2026

I am going to echo what I saw most write here: a monthly sign of life/update would go a long way - and I don't need spoilers either! Actually I prefer it the way you describe - exploring once something is released So just telling people on here what's what is definitely helpful. On a different note and even while life has its ups and downs, I hope you'll have more ups from now on! All the best

tanmax · June 14, 2026

Is this a game where a girl works as a waitress in a bar? Apparently so... so why are there so few updates about her work at the restaurant after 10 months? Table events and sitting events only +1!!!

J
JohnWick · June 14, 2026

Thats what I'm saying!!! If you don't want to give teasers and stay silent.... okay.... but where is the content :( :(

H
Harvesting Corruption · June 14, 2026

I’ll be honest, you guys and Corruption town taking so long to update is why I built my own waitress game. I still love the content you guys are doing. And I understand you have day jobs. I’m lucky enough to put all my time into my game. But if I was to give one bit of advice it would just be to talk to your supporters. Let them know what’s going on. A weekly text update is enough even. But when you ghost em for half a year, they’re gonna bounce. Keep working on your game. Prioritize real life. But make sure you communicate with these guys. As you can see in the comments it’s not good when you don’t. But to end on a positive note. I think you’re doing great work. Keep it up.

J
JohnWick · June 14, 2026

Yes, it is not hard to spare 5 minutes and write a message or post teasers My sister is CEO and manages two companies every day and has family and two kids.... but she has more time than these guys. I don't like such excuses like ""I am too busy"" but busy for 6 months? busy for 24 hours every day for 180 days and not one minute to write a message? No I don't believe it

i dont need constant teasers but at the very least a weekly or monthly progress report would be nice to see. i love the game and all but its been 6 months of silence with no updates and now youre saying its going to be another 3-4 months at the earliest, at thats just a maybe timeframe. think imma cancel until an update is made. keep up the good work and all

J
JohnWick · June 14, 2026

Yes I agree. You cannot be busy for every day of your life that you cannot write a simple message for six months. 60 seconds, 60 minutes, 24 hours, 30 days, and 6 months and they could not find time to spare???? I agree with you. I will wait for the update because what if they go silent again? I can't waste my hardearn money

I
InsaneBrain · June 13, 2026

I agree with the main sentiment of the comments. Just going totally silent is not the best way to go. You don't have to post teasers, screenshots, and spoilers, but do post something. Even if it's just a proof of life post. Personally, I didn't jump on the "this game is dead" bandwagon and just let things play out to see if you came back. And you did. I get that this is a hobby and I'm OK with that, but let people know what's going on. That way you're setting expectations, rather than letting people jump to conclusions, speculate, and signal boost misinformation. As some have said, there are many devs out there that start a project strong, get burnt out, carry on taking people's money and then vanish, leaving the project abandoned. People felt the same was happening here. That said, I hope personal and family life starts to calm down for you.

Z
Zemeritt · June 13, 2026

I'll be honest: I've cancelled before you ghosting Patreon due to personal reasons, but I planned on re-subbing later. However your dead silence here and anywhere else really made me not do it. I'll just say: Staying silent is the worst decision you could have made: You could have just said, that you will massively slow down on teasers, however to say nothing in a time where plenty of other R18 game developers ghost their supporters out of malice and greed, is just bad. Everyone spending their money to support you deserves a progression update at least a month minimum.

J
JohnWick · June 13, 2026

In this economy they should be thankful for supporters.... there is layoffs, AI is killing jobs and only the rich get richer Taking everyone for granted and taking their money but giving nothing in return is no better than exploitation of the trust and support

W

still quite haven’t figured out how to get the maid events? i’ve played for hours and can’t seem to trigger it

F
Frisson Studios · June 15, 2026

first you need to do a perfect cleaning two weeks in a row, or three if you did bad once. Then the events will trigger.

R
Ramen IV · June 13, 2026

It's simple logic. It's fine to want to keep some mystery for the next update, but for so long it's simply not convenient for either side — subscribers or the creator. Just a few teasers and a few words each month, and everyone supporting the project wouldn't complain. I hope they're doing better now.

J
JohnWick · June 13, 2026

The devlog is so small after 6 months!!!! I see +1 or +2 events. WTF!!!! Where did the work go??? After so many months, there is a huge lack of progress. Aren't you working full time on this game development? or is it a side hobby? I do not mind if you don't post as many teaser as before.... but disappearing? silent treatment? that is not fair to anyone. You are not even Online on Discord anymore where Members with $50 support you every day.... Is it really fair to them?

F
Frisson Studios · June 13, 2026

Totally understand why you're frustrated, and honestly, that's fair. But let us correct one thing, because maybe the devlog wasn't clear enough: six months for only two events is simply not true. As you can see in the delvog, there's a lot more content than that, along with a good amount of fixes, improvements, andplaytests that is harder to show in screenshots. Also, no, we've never said we work full time on the game... Quite the opposite, actually. We've always been open about the fact that we have our own lives, jobs, families, and hobbies outside of development. We work on the game during our free time, and unfortunately that amount of time isn't even close to full-time development. As for Discord, we're actually around almost every day. We simply appear offline because, at one point, we were receiving so mqny messages that a large portion of our available time was spent answering DMs instead of working on the game itself. It wasn't meant to ignore anyone or give anyone the silent treatment. It was simply the only way we found to protect the little development time we had. And regarding the higher tiers, especially people supporting us with large amounts every month, we absolutely understand the frustration. Nobody like paying for something and feeling left in the dark. That's on us, and it's one of the reasons we're making this post now instead of pretending nothing happened.

I second this for those who make payments. Many developers vanish and never come back. It would ease peoples minds to know their payments are still going towards the game development.
