Ten Things I Didn't Finish On Time (or at all) + Two I did!
You know, I planned on this going up yesterday, but it seems weirdly fitting to celebrate the last day of the year by looking at some of the things I failed to accomplish during it. That has kind of been the theme of 2022.
I'm kidding. Kind of. This was a crummy year for me but having your support really did make it better so thank you SO much for that! I hope you like this little peek into what i've been working on, hopefully some of these will be finished soon. And of course, as always, I have dozens of other ideas brewing!

I totally love this video.some of these projects are just so lovely. The fabrics scrumptious and your efforts..well.. all I can say is thank you for this.
That purple coat that put the brakes on Coatmas, what if you added a belt to the front only? Turning it more into a cape/cloak/coat thing thing that’s billows on the back and sides; but is nicely tucked in at the front. Would only need a couple of slits at the waist to accommodate a belt; and then you could really commit to cape-like sleeves.
Yeah I know what you mean about the Adderall shortage. It affected me negatively also. Have you ever thought of ECT (?name?) treatment. Where they send electric waves through your brain. A friend with treatment resistant depression tried it and she has been well for iver 2 years now. Take care Angela. Don’t beat yourself up.
I don’t think some of the ‘failed’ projects look nearly as bad as you think. The coat… I think the coat just needs a change of fabric lol. The sequin black Halloween gown is so stunning, I think it’s rather lovely by itself. The organza gown is also very striking and I think with some TLC, it could very well make an eye-catching outfit. I also love the menswear dragon ensemble. It’s giving me Witcher vibes, tbh
Don’t know if you’re looking for suggestions, but could you fussy cut out the orange fabric (on the white mesh) and sew it to black mesh instead??
Death to 2022!! It's been an absolutely horrible year for me too. But hoping 2023 being much better for both of us xx
Yeah I'm with Chris on the Vogue pattern, I feel like the unintentional 80s vibe is actually really cool. It's too bad you didn't like the black shiny project either, because that fabric and the trim are gooorrrrgeous....here's to a happier healthier 2023!
