College of Mysteria 0.13 Progress Update 3.
I wish it was the actual update, but it's close. Now is about the point where I say it's about a week away because everything is in order and I'm just going through tidying it up and nailing it down.
What is in the update so far.
1 Lilly scene
1 Elise scene
1 Cindy scene
The CIndy scene is pretty massive involving other characters in some way, it may aswell be 2 or 3 scenes.
Still not final though, scenes may be added.
There will be a vanilla variation, how indepth that gets will depend on how much time I get. It really does all come down to time.
As an example I could just skip the entire scene for the vanilla route or have him go on a merry adventure around the universe for the vanilla route. I only have so much time to spend on so many things.
The update is the biggest so far word count is already higher and is going to get higher.
So the update is going to include some new green friends. I wanted to make sure the goblin was as curvy as possible for reasons... Also we the poll a while ago for Cindy love interest, very innacurate title, they aren't love interests. Anyway, minotaur won. And Orc almost won, so we've got orc here now.
Plans for minotaur later it doesn't make sense yet, keep an eye on Lilly for that one.
I'll touch on where the story as a whole is going. At some point we do intend to end this, and do have an end point in mind. I'm not going to pretend I have everything completely planned out. I have plot beats to work towards, I have general arcs and endpoints for characters and an over story end point to work towards. This update is hitting one of those overall story plot beats.
The apocalypse is becoming more apocalyptic, where as before it was kind of disjointed. You were just floating around on your magical college and beaming down onto your holiday island. Now it's time to go experience the world, or what's left of it.
We're introducing some mysteries, some pretty obvious. Like that girl with the long white hair who just keeps sending you nudes, who could that possibly be. Others not so obvious, I would be very surprised if anyone guesses it.

the more updates you getting out the more i love this VN, as monster type characters i only remember 1 that is doing that, Brain Rot, and is doing well. personally i like it a lot. considering the whole world of Mysteria it really fits. fell in love for this VN since the start and, for me, one of the few projects where i do support the creator and he just repays in better content and visuals. one of the few projects out there where i actually see the creator aiming for doing more and better and not milking his subscribers! totally worth it. keep it up mate you are doing great.
hmmmm. not so obvious surprise/mystery that it'd be a surprise if anyone guesses it... Challenge accepted...lol Three possibilities: 1. It's about the MC's and/or Cindy's parents... MC and Cindy aren't actually commoners. and/or possibly related... 2. MC and Cindy are re-born/reincarnated versions of previously 'ascended' or murdered beings... And they were lovers, thus the connection. 3. I've tried to think the best of Lady Gwen, and still do. However, it's bothered me that she wasn't initially interested in Cindy, until the MC wouldn't come without her. Then...Gwen showers Cindy with favor, personally trains her, makes her a Duchess, etc. Are Gwen's motives purely altruistic? Or is something a little darker lurking in the shadows... Could the MC and Cindy be 'pawns' in Gwen avoiding ascension and possibly returning the Lord of Night to the current realm? Maybe Cindy is being set up to ascend before Gwen? Thus allowing Gwen to stay? idk, just something about Gwen initially passing over Cindy still makes me wonder what's really going on with all that... - And I guess, one honorable mention: at Cindy's urging, MC gets as many women as possible pregnant and they (MC, Cindy) take over the noble houses (those not loyal or not doing their job anyway) to safeguard the realm with the many descendants becoming heirs to head the noble houses for future generations... No need for spoilers to confirm or deny. Just going on record with wild, crazy ass guesses...🤣
1. 2. and 3. You'll just have to find out. I will say, I'm happy to see that some people are reading into that side of things. I remember one of the of my first releases, one of the comments mentioned how I was setting up the "villains". I always thought it was funny the way it was said, because the story isn't really written in that way. To say whether Gwen is a villain or not is a little rough, this update will make that more clear. This update should also make it more clear what her and the lord of nights overall goals are. As for the whole nobility babymaking plot, I feel like that's certainly an idea that may have one day been a thought, but it would have been a far more formulaic and long term idea. Traveling to different lordships and houses, doing the thing, on to the next. Not quite what we're doing here. You're going to figure out what's happening with the nobility this update.
