Progress Update for College of Mysteria update 10.
For starters, the update is on schedule to be out before the end of the month. The update will be focusing largely on Audrey. With minor showings from many other characters.

As you may know the island has moved to a more tropical climate with plenty of beautiful beaches. And with beaches come bikinis.
MC and Cindy will be tasked to escort a pair of researchers to a nearby island. Cindy has thank the gods, convinced Audrey to wear something more appropriate for the tropical climate.
I won't go into too much further detail, but it turns out the island was home to a nudist colony. Who are none too pleased to see a group of clothed individuals arrive on their island unannounced.
Okay now on to other stuff. I need to figure out what to do with these progress updates. Or figure something out to make it so this page doesn't looks dead for 1-2 months between releases. I'm open to suggestions.
Another thing, which seems like a hot topic. The Wendy and Cindy scenes from last update. They didn't go over well with a lot of people. I've reworked a bit of that scene so that it's possible to choose to avoid sharing anyone. It's not a massive overhaul or anything, it's just alternative routing with slightly different dialogue depending on which route with some minor cg to fill in the blanks. Which is an oversimplication, but for you guys that's what it is.
There's a little too much going on with that scene which I'll likely avoid doing in the future, which made it very tedious to go through and straighten out.

Update 10.0 release?
In the next few days, it's very close.
On the regular updates topic, some suggestions from my side. Pick one day of the week that suits you best 1) Choose one teaser render of the coming version and post it, with a progress number in % on it. If you feel like it, you could also break it down further, like Renders, texts, coding, sound, and also give these areas own progress numbers. It would be great if you could do this every two weeks. Keep any text short to save time. In the weeks between, you could choose one activity like: 2) A poll on anything you don't have a strong opinion on and it can do either way: creating new characters, which girl should have an NTR scene, the guys for NTR sex scenes, sex positions, the favorite girl of the month and you create a render with her, etc. 3) you rant a little about your current challenges or any other topic close to your heart 4) you teaser a little about the coming update, like the story of the island above. In a nutshell: make the posts shorter, but put them in weekly. Happy to read your thoughts
I love Audrey as much as the next person, but, I do hope that we maybe get another appearance of a certain other firey redhead who pretends not to love our cock. She may need some consoling after the previous episodes events. XD
Keep up the good work. I love everything about the last update. I can't wait to see Audrey again, just imagine the sexual carnage Cindy, Wendy and liberated Audrey will wreck on that tropical island!

Yay Audrey! I've missed her. There seems to be a bit of background action that is implied not on screen. Cindy and routinly visiting each others rooms nightly. empliing that Lilly and Eustice are frequent viewers to their antics. It would be nice to see if there is some referance to Audrey being visited on occation too, unless you intend for her to have been dropped for awhile. There might be alot of room to just casually drop offscreen events of ongoing interaction with Lizzie, Penelope, Monique and Eustice, and now Wendy. Love that dynamic btw, Cindy has the Title, but she remains devoted to the MC, and while SHE is allowed a servent Wendy and Cindy both happily refer to the MC as Wendy's master. paints an interesting dynamic for the MC and Cindy moving though the world now. I had no issue with Cindy or Wendy last update. But then I'm very much into sharing, lol. What you did for Eustice was awesome last update. He deserved his window of feeling dominate. Poor guys Self Estem is a mess. For updates, All you need to do is drop a little bit on occasion once ever 1-2 weeks. Or randomly if you want to get some interaction with your Subs. Drop a pretty render, either part of a scene or just one of he ones you did and discarded, or just one you did for fun. may be a hint at something coming up in the next official update. Does not need much, There are plenty of others that have long track records of regular updates that can obfuscate for a few months at a time without too much worry, but you have not built that trust up yet. Keep going and you will. Keep up the great work. I love your characters and worldbuilding.
It's true, there is a great deal of implied. It's somewhat the biggest challenge. I can generate some waist and up sprites and have characters talk endlessly. That type of content is by far the easiest for me to create and write. But that's not really what I'm interested in. VN' s are somewhat similar to screenplays, where you only have a limited amount of time to convey a scene. Granted with VN's you can spend a lot more time. I want to add as much art to go with what is being written, unfortunately it's just not feasably possible. So I tend to imply a lot. The biggest implication is MC and Cindy's relationship. A lot of people talk about it being rushed, but in reality Cindy and MC have been together forever. It's about as non rushed as a relationship could possibly be, It's just not force fed to you. You kind of need to just read the implication. People would say Cindy went to fast into being slutty. But that's the literal implication, she is slutty, that's who she is. While being as she is, she still waited until they were adults because she is devoted solely to you as the MC. She simply couldn't handle waiting any longer and starting making the moves herself because is too clueless to do it himself. This is all implied, under the assumping the reader can read basic implications. Another one, is Gwen. She is very powerful, extremely so. I shouldn't need to show her performing powerful things. Because you can imply it, by her literally commanding the most powerful inviduals to do her bidding, with just words. The reader should be able to put 2 and 2 together.
What a pleasant surprise to know that the update will be out this month! I think a lot of us were wondering if it would be a few weeks delayed due to no update in August. With respect to the progress reports. I honestly think that it would be fine to just post a few renders every 2 weeks along with 1 or 2 sentences teasing what might be coming, and then of course any news as we get closer to release if there is a delay or if it is on track. Per update cycle this would be about 4 posts, but they could each be like 30 % the length of this one and people would still be happy. The most important thing I think, as you continue to gain momentum, is consistency, and you are already there with the regular updates.
I've been a fan of this story since April, discovered before on a site and I wanted to become a member. I love the story, the characters and where it goes. I wish that College of Mysteria to grow up and receive more credit bc is really hard to find a good Visual Novel out there. And this is one of them. Always shared CoM and I hope to see more and more in the future. I think you deserve more support.
