Nova Raptor - Special MakerWorld Release
Hello all!
I've just released a new mega model kit, the Nova Raptor, on MakerWorld!
It's the first creator model to be redeemable for points. Instead of putting it up as a paid model, many users have been asking if there's some way to get premium models using points instead of money and MakerWorld is testing it out for the first time using my latest model, the Nova Falcon!
It's a mega model kit like the Goliath Tank and Cipher Prime, and comes with a new mini service droid called the M-23.
It's redeemable for 50 points and comes in non-AMS and full Multi-Color versions. It's available now here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/3005340-nova-falcon#profileId-3374727
The Cipher Prime will still be free still when it launches, they both started with the same skeleton but I had a lot of fun taking them in different directions.
Thanks for your support and I hope you like it!

Cool! I think this is a great way to have premium-like models on Makerworld!
it only took me an hour to do the Bambu Academy. No body said it couldn't be an open book test, right? #ifkyk
I'm Printing M23 as we speak!!!!
so...I pay the annual subscription for your Patreon membership and I'm now going to have to redeem points to download a model from Makerworld...and how does happen if you don't have points to redeem? Too bad...you miss out as there is no longer any way points can be earned on Makerworld unless you're a creator and upload models...how is that going to work for those who aren't creators? I can see subscription will be the next step on Makerworld...their closed system has been steering towards it for 12 months or more.
Like my other few paid models, this is an additional model I took extra time out of my schedule to make, so it's not taking away from Patreon or free models. Offering it for points is a way to lower the barrier for premium models as many children aren't able to use money, but can earn points on MakerWorld. I do agree that earning points for non creators isn't as easy as it used to be. The other alternative would be to list the model on Patreon as a paid $5-10 model
Super cool! do you have any other premuim model ideas for makerworld?
能不能再出个付费款呢，中国用户在MV国际站很少会有积分，或者同步一下中国区的MW
