First Steps Into Paralives šŸ”

Yesterday finally felt unreal.
After waiting for what felt like forever, Paralives finally entered Early Access — and honestly, I was so excited I could barely sit still while it downloaded. I went in with huge expectations, endless curiosity, and that special feeling you only get when a game you’ve followed for years is finally in your hands.

And then… reality hit a little.

The moment I launched the game, I could immediately feel that Paralives is still very much an unfinished game. There are bugs, awkward moments, missing features, and plenty of things that still need polishing. But at the same time? You can already see the incredible potential hiding underneath it all.

The free placement mode is honestly one of the most exciting parts for me. It feels creative, refreshing, and different in the best way possible. But it’s also chaotic right now. At one point my entire roof suddenly disappeared and I couldn’t place it back no matter what I tried. I had to find a completely different workaround just to continue building. And that’s only one example out of many little Early Access moments I experienced.

Everything still feels unfamiliar too. I constantly catch myself trying to use Sims controls out of pure instinct. I guess that’s what happens when The Sims has been such a huge part of my life for so many years.
Okay… maybe not my entire life. šŸ˜‚
But definitely my passion — and despite all the bugs, all the frustration, and all the comparisons, The Sims will probably always remain my number one.

As for the Paras themselves… if I’m being honest, they’re not fully my style yet. Their appearance feels a little too angular for my personal taste right now. But I’m genuinely curious to see how they evolve with future updates because you can already tell the developers have heart and vision behind this project.

So… would I buy Paralives again?

Hmm…

Honestly?
Very probably yes.

Because underneath all the bugs, confusion, and Early Access chaos, there’s still that exciting feeling that this could grow into something really special.

ā€œThe Paragroveā€ became my first little cozy corner in Paralives — modern, warm, slightly imperfect, but created with a lot of excitement and curiosity for what this game could become in the future.

Uploading this house to the Steam Workshop was honestly a challenge itself and took me way longer than expected, so I really hope the link works properly now. šŸ˜…

And this is definitely only the beginning. There will be many more Paralives builds coming in the future, so stay tuned and experience together with me how the Paralives community grows and how the game slowly becomes better and better over time. ✨

Thanks for your support

Your first Paralives build is very cute, Tara. I will say, the game's graphics are pretty awesome and certainly look far more three dimensional than The Sims. Look forward to seeing what else you come up with!
