[WIP] Gortash makeover progress
Thought I'd share my progress on the Gortash makeover! Unless I change my mind, here are previews of how it will look! (Although it won't look as good in game 😢)
I wanted his new outfit to be gaudy but not too much, hopefully I've struck the right balance. Kept his color scheme but swapped out the gold for silver, otherwise it would have been too much lol.
Overall I am most proud of the armored arm and gauntlet! (Keep in mind the previews are mirrored from how they will look in the game!)
I will definitely make the outfit available for Body Type 2 but it won't be dyable, as making outfits dyable makes texturing quite limiting.
I'm thinking of adding faint little scars to Gortash's face like he has on his vanilla textures, I think it would fit his character and story and be a nice throwback to the original.
Next up, I'm going to tackle Gortash's alternate hulked out form (which you only see when fighting him in honor mode if I'm not mistaken). I want him to look super epic and more threatening during that phase.

This looks incredible! I really like the redesign for Gortash, it fits the narrator's description much better! Any chance the outfit will also be available on its own? Would love to dress Astarion in it tbh 😅

OH. MY. GOD! I never mess with the NPCs' appearances while modding, because I think they're already expertly designed. But this is on another level. Now he actually looks like the handsome younger man with quick and easy smile!
Ok. I don't care much for Gortash. BUT DAMN. Now he actually looks like the 'handsome' Chosen of Bhaal the narrator was talking about. He looks amazing! His outfit is insane! 🫢
I love this so much! This is the coolest Gortash mod I've ever seen. As for updates, you should do what you feel comfortable with. As a viewer I love seeing update, but if you're forcing yourself too much to update a burnout can be real thing. So go with what you feel like.
