Writing
Now, I'm at 9k words just for day 3 and then looking back on day 1 and 2 it was a total of 16k words...There's still lots of writing and dialogue to add, so this will be quite a big day. Comparatively. Here's a lil bit of some shenanigans I'm going to be setting up.
Art
I've begun working on the assets of Jim for day 3. And it's been a long time since I've updated the game. Over a year now. So my art style has changed, I think for the better. But that means I'll have to do some updates to the previous assets. I'll probably have to rework Jim's sprite as well. This will be version 3 of Jim's sprite. I fear he gets updated every new day's release. I think a lot of people have not seen version one of Jim Sprite that I made for the winter game jam. So I only had a month time restriction, but he looks pretty silly to me now. In a charming looking back kinda way. New sprite in progress, not finished! (Didn't even make my new homunculi clothes yet lol)
Then, this is how I plan for assets, especially since I have animation on a lot of pieces of him and I like having a lot more control of his expressions.
I've begun testing some of the movements in Renpy and I'm happy how it's turned out! (Ignore the text...this is how I test if the mouth moves at the right times and that nothing breaks.)
Finally, a preview for the new main menu screen...the one currently was the og from the first version. So it's been a long time coming.

Mostly just reacquainting myself with my own code and trying to make sense of how I organized it in the past T.T and omg it's a hot mess in there. Getting the guy to animate earlier was like pulling teeth haha but I think I got it again.

Hmm he doesnt have tattoos. The... opportunity just hasn't lined up. And then I'd say he's an earth sign but i havent decided any specific bdays yet lol
