franklin 12 update
i have finished the script for episode 12, tentatively titled "stealing stuff"
it is about stealing stuff - land, people, gold, money, combinations thereof
it is pretty long
buildings are almost all done - girard college is ready to go but i still need to do the 2nd philadelphia mint, which should go quick since i'm just shuffling around greek revival parts i already got
also discord integration is off for the moment; [I don't think it'll kick you out of the old server though] but in light of some recent events I think it would be wise if I started a server where I'm actually the owner of the damn thing - that'll probably be combined with Well There's Your Problem when it happens; stay tuned for updates

Hey! Completely oblivious to all things Discord and frankly, not entirely sure how the discord even works. I'm here purely for your kickass Franklin series. Any idea when we can expect more from that? I shared with so many history buff friends. We all love it. Thanks!!!
Hey guy, I enjoy the podcast, but how about this series, will it ever continue? I understand it's a lot of work but it's been a while you know.
I was not particularly active on the old Discord, but am inclined to take DNE's word for this one. At the least, I think a server that you actually own is the right idea, as is combining it with WTYP. Let us know if there's anything we can do to help!

to clarify for certain people who keep trying to make this a thing, the antisemitism thing is bullshit. a moderator was accused of working with someone who folks said was an antisemite. that person in question has recanted the tweets in question which indicated antisemitism, and the tweets in question were a few things they said years ago as a dumb teenager that no one fucking saw, except some folks who dug through their tweet history for the sake of stirring up trouble for the moderator. anyway as a result of this guilt from association, said moderator was harassed off the damn discord which is why I think we oughta start fresh

I gave a dollar to see the Killdozer episode. I'm new to all this. I didn't even know what a Struggle Session was.
I can see that the Discord is some whole fucking drama, and frankly I don't care about it. I barely contributed at all and joined because I thought it'd be about you and this video series. I'm not at all here for some kind of weird hostile-takeover leftist-firing-circle bullshit. (Note: I'm a leftist. I'm just tired of the infighting.) If there's to be a new Discord, I'll lurk in that one and dump the one that exists. Sorry it went sideways on you, and it's fucked up that people staged some kind of boring-ass coup on it. (See also: auth-coms can get in the fucking sea.)
@Connie - Yeah, I mean, obviously that's a serious problem and I'm not into that at all. I'm just saying that this weird bullshit going on lately, with Discords and subreddits and such being 'taken over' by tedious State-Commies is tiresome.

Uuuh I wasn't paying close attention to the Discord server other than checking the LGBTQIA room occasionally. And now the server log is the Chinese Red Army flag. What happened?
Just looks like it got taken over by weeb sectarian weirdos. For one thing, it looks like they combined the LGBT and POC channels into one about "subaltern studies", which on a server with so many channels is pretty sus.
