Launchbuddy 1.8.4 Release
Release 1.8.4:
So I put myself together and pulled an all nighter to rewrite and debbug the Autologin feature of Launchbuddy. Launchbuddy 1.8.4 now is the first version of LB which uses Local.dat files for the login and now works independet from the removed -email -password arguments. Its a small update but a significant one, which really makes the multiboxing experience way smoother.

Why wasn't this done earlier?:
Launchbuddy's goal is to be the fastest and easiest "One-Stop-Shop" for your Guild Wars 2 Client. Using local.dat files has some big cons, with the biggest one beeing that the Local.dat isn't just a random file which stores your Login data. Many other things like Graphic Settings, Sound settings, PVP Server bookmarks,... get stored all in there, which won't be synched to any other account local.dat file! Another reason was time, why press a button if you can press none? Guaranteed stability after a game update -> not given. Needlessly wasting storage space -> up to 60 MB for one account?

What happened to 1.8.3?:
Version 1.8.3 is a patreon exclusive version with a different login method. In this method no Local.dats have to be moved arround and Launchbuddy actually interacts with the Gw2 Login window itself. This features public release will happen in the future and won't require any readding of accounts if you used 1.8+ before.
Is Launchbuddy a dead project now?:
NO NOT AT ALL. Many people seemed to misinterpret my latest statement regarding the changes made by ArenaNet. I simply wanted to take a few steps back and use my time for other projects. However as the community has shown Launchbuddy is and allways will be a community driven project. Thanks again for all the nice words and positive feedback redgarding this project!
