I'm so excited to present the update of my two wash stands, and wash basin!

I have been working a lot on XML tuning lately: trying to figure out how things work, and how I can modify things to my advantage.

As much as I love the washbasins, there were issues with the functions that annoyed me, and bits that didn't make sense.

So, here's the changes I've made to the functions:

• When you click the basin and select "Sponge Bath", the sim no longer changes into sleepwear, and keeps their current outfit on; they will undress, and wash - then they will change back into the same outfit they were wearing before. There's no longer any tuning included from Serinion - instead you only need to have the Sponge Bath at Sink mod from Cepzid/Zulf.

• The main options on the basins are "Sponge Bath", "Quickly Wash Hands", "Quickly Brush Teeth", and all the interactions from my Automatic Beards mod.

• These interactions are all Off-The-Grid, and you no longer need to have a bucket of water in your inventory in order to do these things where the water is already there!

• They still get "dirty", and to clean OTG you do need to have a bucket of water with you - but if your lot is On The Grid, you won't need it.

• The basins no longer BREAK, this was a big frustration. Why would a water basin break and then spout water all over the floor?? So they are "unbreakable" (though, they can still catch fire and blacken).

• No upgrade options; it's already unbreakable, so what's the point in upgrades, right?

• No "Get Water" or other superfluous interactions.

(I use Modsby's Dropdown Menu ☝🏻 highly recommend!)

I have also improved the KHD "Linen" washstand mesh: around the mirror looks more smooth and nice. The jug/pitcher has been improved and made less boxy.
AND I've added an extra swatch per colour where the jug is invisible! That way you can choose your own jug if you like - just like the "Valentine" washstand.

Update 09/10/2026: Maybe I was a little hasty to release these 13 hours ago, but I tried to prevent the "ZipZap" spell from showing for spellcasters, since the basins are unbreakable; the consequence was that actually the Automatic Beards mod didn't think the basin was unbroken, and so the shave interactions didn't show. Readding the bits which tell the beards mod that the basin is not broken, has made the "ZipZap" spell appear again, but I don't think I can prevent this without editing the beards mod as well - which would also mean that actually broken sinks would also still have the interaction showing 🤣

Long story short - please redownload the files if you had already done so, and if your spellcaster uses "ZipZap", although it won't actually break the sink, then the "repario" spell will subsequently appear available.
