Frill Gas Lighting Set
Adding to my collection of gas lighting, I have just completed this bigish set of lights.
I'm slowly updating all my lights' tuning; but at the same time I like to make new things, and keep busy editing things.
One day, bored, I looked through the game assets, and found a chandelier I thought I could salvage into a gas light, and these were the fun results!
I haven't been feeling too well lately, and as a result everything has been happening a bit slower than usual - and I have had trouble staying focused on things.
Some may be happy to learn that I have been doing some more Sims 2 conversions, but again, it's happening rather slowly at the moment. Bear with!
SO, in the Frill Glass Gas Set, in five swatches, we have three different wall lights:
And THEN we have three different chandeliers, in three heights: two shades, four shades, and eight shades!
Each gas pipe uses 12 candle flames... I don't know if this will cause lag for anyone - I haven't noticed for my game 🤷🏻 but maybe turn off the gas in the rooms you're not using, or turn on automate 😊

Hi, have been a big fan of your work for awhile now (super glad some people still do historical CC for this game)! I'm actually super curious where the pool table comes from, is that an AnniQ recolor? I have the original version of the animated pool table mod but am desperate for historical recolors/rebuilds of it. Thank you!

I love this! If I may ask; what do you use for the smoke / fog in the room?

So for the main smoke I used Remy's Fog Emitter https://modthesims.info/d/605471/fog-emitter.html - I made them as small as they go, and lifted them up to as high as I thought would look acceptable. The main problem with this it's like a perfectly flat surface, so it's okay on the floor, but if you raise it up, it looks really obvious if it's at an object or a sim. Originally I tried to raise it to the ashtrays, but it just cuts through everything like a piece of paper 🤣 Not as obvious is the first fog I tried, which was SonozakiSisters' "Visible Fog Object in Build/Buy Mode" https://www.patreon.com/SonozakiSistersSims4/posts/visible-fog-in-155803170 --- one of these two she has to download has no green square footprint thing, so when I placed it on the floor, I couldn't remove it/delete it. I tried moving the room, but it travelled with it, and I had already decorated so much, it stayed there for the pictures haha.
Absolutely love these! They remind me of a scene from the Chris Columbus movie "Young Sherlock Holmes" from the 1980s. (Yes, I'm old). Bravo
