"Small Piano-Forte" Version 2 - Chairless
Download Version 1 of the Small Piano-Forte (chair attached) here.
Since I worked out how to make chairs snap to instruments, I knew I had to update this piano, so it doesn't have a chair permanently attached.
I have learned a lot more in Blender since I released the first version, so I had to go through and improve the piano itself as much as I knew how. in consequence: I am much happier with this version, than the first one.
Our new version has 6 swatches in total: various wood shades, including a white/cream and black/very dark brown version.
I also improved the sheet music, it looks so much better now - I don't know how I got it so bad looking before 🤣
You can snap any "dining" chair to the piano, and it will look like the sim is sitting on it when playing; in truth, they're not actually sitting on the chair at all, since the animation is unrelated to the chair altogether: because of this, it's possible that at some point another sim will decide that sitting on that chair is the best place to watch someone play the piano:
This has only happened a couple of times for me, when doing all my testing. Unfortunately I can't mark the chair as "unavailable" while someone is playing the piano. I hope this doesn't bother you so much to not use this piano vs the old one!

Attached to this post is an excel file with a list of all the cc used in the room. Unfortunately a few are my own personal versions of things, which I won't share here - but you should be able to find the equivalent/original versions online.
