Functioning Annabelle Dolls
(update notes at the bottom of post)
Anyone watch The Conjuring movies? I love that kind of thing.
In the series is a couple of Annabelle movies; they use a creepy Victorian doll - but the real Annabelle is a Raggedy Ann doll with red yarn hair.
Paranormal investigators, Ed and Lorraine Warren were given the doll as the owner was so frightened by it.
According to the Warrens, they were given the doll in the 1970s by a 28-year-old student nurse named Donna from Hartford, Connecticut who claimed the doll could move by itself and exhibited malicious and frightening behavior. The Warrens said a psychic medium had told the student nurse and her roommate that the doll had been taken over by the spirit of a dead six-year-old girl named Annabelle Higgins. The Warrens claimed the doll was demonically possessed and subsequently placed it in a display box at their Occult Museum in Monroe, Connecticut.
Over time, the Warrens publicized various claims about Annabelle: supposedly the doll inflicted "psychic slashes" that drew blood from victims, caused a priest who insulted the doll to run his car into a tree, and stabbed a homicide detective, forcing him into early retirement.
As part of their October 2025 spooky cc stuff, simdertalia made an Annabelle doll! It's not exactly the same, but close enough. The Large and Small dolls in the set are both deco - but I have made them functioning!
The small doll has been made a standard toybox toy - your little'ns can pick her up and play with her to increase their imagination skill.
The large doll I have made into a GIANT doll - she functions like the giant toys: Blarfy the bear, Drago the dinosaur, Dino the dragon, Bearcular the bat, Nibbles the grimtern, Pixel the friendly bear etc.etc.etc. - with some sinister changes 👻
The small doll was very straight forward to make; but, the giant doll caused me a lot of trouble, and I spent WAY TOO MUCH TIME trying to get it to work properly.
Thank you to amethyst lilac for all the help!!
You can hug, play, and talk to your Annabelle doll and will receive custom buffs; but don't make her angry, or you might suffer the consequences!!! (disclaimer: there are no real consequences)
You can download the original deco dolls from simdertalia here!
Have fun, spookyboobies!

Here is the French translation of Annabelle's two mods. I have a question. I'm going to present it on the luniversims.fr website, so I'm doing the tests and taking screenshots. Annabelle keeps her arms stretched out and not along her body. Is this normal? A friend tested it without the mod and she has the same thing. In your screenshot, she has her arms along her body. Thank you for your attention and your response. Thanks again for sharing, it's so kind of you.
Merci beaucoup pour la traduction, mon français n'est pas peut-être bien pour cela ! Je suis très désolé pour les bras, I don't know what happened there! I have fixed this, and added your translations to the files. I really appreciate your work! Thank you sooo much for getting in contact and letting me know of the problem!
Incredible, you have won Halloween.
haha thanks 😂👻
