WIP....
I still haven't started the Victorian range (oven), but I have compiled some stuff that I'll try use to assemble it.
I HAVE been working on more gas lights! Outdoor lights! There's a set of Gothic-style (two of which are pictured above), as well as some other street lights.
I wish there were an easier way for me to work out where to put the candle flames in order for it to look like gas light 🤔
I need some sort of diagram, something that can show the actual height of the flames, and the location of my coördinates to make the big flame.
Right now, I just experiment: using the flat, round surface of the part I want the flame to come from (the gas tube), I take coördinates from around in a + or x pattern, and adjusting the height - then the same in the centre. Sometimes the result looks quite lumpy when you place the light in build/buy - but when you go back to Live mode, and press play, it lights up just fine.
Right now, I'm actually not quite sure what else I'll work on next, which is not good BECAUSE I NEED IT TO DISTRACT MY MIND.
Anyone have anything they'd wish was functioning, or need to be recoloured to look more Victorian, or anything else they think I'd be able to do???

Ha ha ha! Just to ask...have you thought about making things to build? Doors, windows, columns (this way I get over the thorn of not being able to make the column for my Schonbrunn Palace). I build my houses using Urbex videos; a good source of reference is Brother of Decay; abandoned period houses are a great example of how to make real things. I hope I inspire you ;D
I loove abandoned buildings 😅 I like ghost movies, and there can be so many good ones in abandoned buildings! To be honest, I haven't really thought about making architectural stuff, but it might be something I can try! Only problem is what to do? There's already so many options which satisfy my needs 😂
