How to Download DMZ Alphas/Betas 101

Hey there guys!

As you may have seen, we offer different things through our Patreon. One of these is the ability to download the latest available updates from DragonMineZ. Lately, we’ve tweaked many of our options to make it possible for you to download DMZ Alphas much more frequently than before. Do note that sometimes these downloads may be unstable, which is why we are starting to add version SHA commit information to these alphas!

For those of you who don’t know what this means, we will basically be sharing updates much more continuously with those who are either Contributors and/or Benefactors. So yes, expect even daily updates! To understand how to download these versions, make sure to join our Discord: https://discord.dragonminez.com

Our bot has been continuously receiving updates to simplify the process of getting access: from receiving whitelist access, to automatically detecting your Patreon roles and giving you access to these exclusive downloads through Discord OAuth.

Additionally, we are rolling out a new feature that will allow you to give access to a friend for a LIMITED time! This means that if you are a Contributor or Benefactor, you can submit a request to give alpha/beta access to a user of your preference as long as your Patreon subscription is valid. So, if you have a sibling or friend who plays Minecraft, now you can both play DMZ Alphas/Betas together for the price of one.

Lastly, we encourage you to join our Discord server to receive updates about our mod, which are starting to get more hands-on. We don’t want to give spoilers, but our timeline currently suggests that DMZ may be released in mid-to-late June. Of course, this all depends on our availability to work on it, and we expect the date could change. There is also a much higher chance that the new date may be sooner than the one currently stated.

Thank you for your support!

Bruno, on behalf of The DMZ Team.
