Hey guys! 💕 I’m so excited to finally share Ultimate Vanity, a fully functional beauty gameplay mod for The Sims 4.
This mod allows your Sims to apply, layer, and remove makeup directly in Live Mode — no CAS, no loading screens, just seamless gameplay.
Ultimate Vanity was built with storytelling, machinima, and everyday realism in mind, making beauty feel intentional, immersive, and fun.
Note
Ultimate Vanity is designed to be modular and expandable. Future updates may introduce additional brands, products, or features, but this release is complete and fully playable. Using the separate files will allow you to customise your experience by deleting modules you don't want in your game.
!!!The Makeup objects or vanity has to be placed on a surface with a chair slot. This can be a counter, hightable, diniing table or vanity. the lipstick, lipgloss, perfumes and setting spray can be done without a chai and surface!!!
!!! The Script file is only mandatory for the Storefronts !!!
!!! Please add only one prop file in your mods folder !!!
!!!Use bb.moveobjects on to place the makeup stand and use all its slots!!!
!!!The Solea Storefront can be found in the Community Objects Tab!!!
What Is Ultimate Vanity?
Ultimate Vanity introduces a live beauty system where beauty products actually affect your Sim’s appearance in real time. The first release focuses on Makeup and Fragrance.
Makeup stays on until your Sim removes it, meaning:
No automatic resets
No disappearing looks
Full control over your Sim’s routine

How the Mod Works
1. Applying Makeup & Fragrance
Apply base makeup, eyes, lips, blush, and highlight using the different makeup and fragrance objects.
Choose between light and heavy application options
Select different styles and finishes depending on the product
2. Removing Makeup
Makeup remains on your Sim until removed.
Sims can:
Remove specific categories (eyes, lips, base, blush, highlight)
Remove all makeup at once
Use KIYOMI Fresh Face Wipes to fully cleanse their face

I don't usually download mods like this because they're too complicated for me to install and I'm scared they'll break my game but this is genuinely amazing. There's so much that you can do and it really adds another layer to my gameplay. I can't believe how perfect it is and how easy it is to install and use, this is genuinely an amazing piece of work !!!!!!

hey, it should be as my makeup doesn't override anything, but depending on how she did her spec maps some stuff may appear glossy or not when worn together. but they should be fine to run together

Hi girl! As illustrated in the video above, if you already have cas makeup on, the make up you put on with the mod will override it. but when you take the makeup off your cas makeup will return

No it does not, I play with that mod as well. From my understanding that mod changes the tuning on the vanity table object, however mine only uses the animations from the vanity.

Hello beautiful I'm here to let you know that the base tuning file may be corrupted. this is what I am seeing when I try to place the foundation. [There is bad tuning in this mod: \GAMEPLAY MODS - MUSAMISIMS_Ultimate Vanity Mod V1.1 (SEPARATE FILES)\Base Makeup\[MUSAMISIMS]UVM_BASE MAKEUP_TUNING.package Delete it from your mods folder or see if the author has an updated version. If it is a multi-package mod make sure you update all of them.] I really want to keep laying with this mod but could your pretty please check the tunning? this came from Better Exception Thank you!!

hey girl i REALLY love this mod however whenever i have my sim put on either of the foundation + concealer the eyebrows it draws on are often not where my sim's eyebrows actually are so she ends up looking a bit crazy lmao. would it be possible to maybe get a version of the concealer and foundation without the eyebrows being drawn on? i feel like we all mess with where eyebrows stand and all types of different ones that it would be really hard to do that unless its just the eyebrows i use im not sure, if you want i can send a screenshot of what i mean. but anyway other than this tiny thing i am IN LOVE with it and i use the other stuff all the time

You need to have bb.moveobjects on to use all the slots on the tray, and for now you need the bathroom clutter kit and everyday clutter kit for the objects, they are all being made BGC this week and will be ready for redownload by the weekend

To start off this mod is amazing! But I was wondering if we could get lighter bronzer/contour options? For my lighter sims, how dark it is makes them look off. Their lower face, neck, and eyelids are much darker

So the tuning itself is base game compatible however a few of the objects themselves rely on the kits and do not appear in game without them. I am currently working on making the objects Base game compatible for the next update
