Hello, this is a beautiful home. However it's not allowing my sims to eat. never had this issue before while playing the sims.

Unfortunately, I’m not entirely sure how this happened or how to resolve it directly, as I haven’t received similar reports from other players regarding this particular house. From my search on the internet, It seems that this issue may be occurring randomly for some players. It does appear to be related to a bug or glitch. I truly hope these suggestions help, and here are a few potential fixes you can try: - Reset the Sims or Objects: Use the cheat resetSim [Sim’s first name] [Sim’s last name] in the cheat console (press Ctrl + Shift + C to open it) to reset any stuck Sims. Similarly, you can reset objects like the fridge using resetObject [ObjectID]. - Check Custom Content (CC) that may interfere with cooking: Sometimes, CC related to kitchens, such as stoves, refrigerators, or objects used for cooking, may not function properly on certain computers. Try removing CC related to cooking or replacing it with non-CC objects to see if the issue resolves. - Check save files: If the save file is corrupted or malfunctioning, it could prevent Sims from performing certain activities. Try saving the game under a new file name using the "Save As" function to avoid using the original save file, which might be problematic. - Clear cache files: Delete the cache files by going to the folder: Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Cache. Delete the file named localthumbcache.package and other cache files in that folder. Clearing the cache will prompt the game to generate new files the next time it is opened, which might help resolve issues caused by old cache files. - Check system limitations: Sometimes, this issue may be caused by the limitations of your computer system, such as RAM capacity or a graphics card that cannot support the use of large CC or Mods.
