I'm excited to announce that I'm launching a MAJOR update to the Responsible Pregnancy Mod next Thursday, December 11th! What started as a plan for ONE module somehow spiralled into SEVEN modules (oops)🤣

The expanded mod stays true to the theme of what Sims SHOULD and SHOULDN'T do during pregnancy.

6 New Modules (Mix & Match!):

This mod will use a modular system where each module is based on a different type of risk a pregnant Sim can face during pregnancy. How well your Sim navigates these risks determines their outcome:

• 🍸Module 1: Alcohol/Fizzy Consumption

• 🍵Module 2: Caffeine Consumption - Avoiding Pregnancy Insomnia from drinking too much caffeine

• 🪱Module 3: Toxoplasmosis Risk - Avoiding infection risks from cats, farm animals, and contaminated food

• 🍎Module 4: Healthy Eating - Maintaining proper nutrition throughout pregnancy

• 💦Module 5: Prenatal Exertion - Balancing safe exercise, hydration, and body temperature

• 🧼Module 6: Household Chores - Managing physical strain and harmful substance exposure from household chores and other activities.

• 🍼Module 7: Newborn Complications - Babies can be born with various health issues as a result of irresponsible actions during pregnancy, including low birth weight, colic, congenital toxoplasmosis, acute illnesses, and sudden infant death syndrome(SIDs is optional and can be turned off in game) 

Compatibility

This mod will be fully compatible with Pandasama's mods, Adeepindigo's Healthcare Redux, and Lumpinou's RPO Mod. My mod is designed to complement these, not replace them, however none of them will be required unless you want miscarriage or premature labour risks as possible consequences.

🧘‍♀️ Pregnancy Massage Table Object: A new functional object with pregnancy-specific massage interactions! Hire a massage therapist or ask loved ones to provide relief from pregnancy aches and pains.

🧘‍♀️ New pregnancy-safe activities: Prenatal yoga, kegel exercises, waddling, pregnancy massage table, and more

✨ Pregnancy Glow reward: Visible glow for pregnant Sims who take excellent care of themselves. Other sims will react to the sim's pregnancy glow

💕 Baby Care & Partner Support Features New interactions between expecting Sims and their partners, plus general parent interactions where parents can provide support to one another during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Partners can choose to be supportive or unsupportive during pregnancy and after, which will impact their relationship.

⚡ Simston Hicks Contractions - Third trimester Sims who overexert themselves may experience Simston Hicks contractions , which are false labor that can trick your Sim into thinking they're going into labor when they're not!

💧 Refillable water bottle: Ensure your pregnant sim stays hydrated throughout the day as well as other hydration sources

🍼 Boobie Boycott: You are what you eat and babies taste what their breastfeeding parent drinks! Responsibility doesn't end after childbirth. Breastfeeding Sims who consume harmful substances (alcohol, excessive caffeine, etc.) may experience latching issues with their baby or infant as little ones refuse milk that doesn't taste quite right.
