ACCORD – 0.5.0 - DOMINATION

I’m a bit late to the party, but I wanted to say that this update was great. I played the Submission route and felt that Domination didn't have as much content yet, though I did see the challenges the character will face and how things are being set up. I think Submission had an incredible start, whereas Domination is building tension with the climax coming later; that’s got me excited for the next update, and the scenes you created really show what you’re capable of going forward. In short, I felt Submission offered an immediate payoff, while Domination is a slow burn with a future payoff. Personally, I prefer Domination, but playing the Submission route was definitely worth it. Only your game could make do this.

I’m kinda confused on how the downloads work so the submissive post and this post are they separate like downloads or do we choose which path we want in either of the posts

Bit late to the party, but I wanna put my thoughts out here too, or else they'll keep me up all night lol. First of all, the quality. Oh my god, the fucking quality. If someone told me that you sold your soul to the koikatsu gods, I'd believe it instantly. Idc how often it has been said, but that kind of skill needs to be appreciated. Definitely the highest it's been thus far, especially the expression! A bunch of worldbuilding this time, actually had to use my brain. There's a lot of things that have been teased till now and I'm excited to get some answers to them... some day. One thing I feel a bit split on though. I feel like the transition from the last dom update to this one, was a bit... abrupt? I thought the beginning was a flashback at first for some reason. Also, I feel like Mia's and Lucy's personality were a bit inconsistent from the last dom update. Now, that could very well just be Emo Mia (Red Mia, but I like calling her that), slowly influencing not just Lucy, but Mia herself. Even so, I feel like it was a bit abrupt, like there's one event missing between Lucy trying to kill emo Mia, until now she's just kinda vibing? She seems a lot more chill in general in this update, her new model also gives that nonchalant vibe. Overall, I'd say this update is very good, bonus points for making the animals abusers suffer. My personal rating, that no one cares about, but whatever: 14 olive trees/ 5 cargo boxes.

Alright thoughts time. Spoilers ahead. I… liked this update? That shouldn’t be a quistone but it kinda is. I feel like it did most things right but somehow I just wasn’t as emotionally invested as I have been in previous ones. What does that tell us? Nothing at all probably, maybe that people don’t really know what they want? Let’s go over some things that happened. There was a lot of exposition and character building/setup for the future. That’s a good thing but like we know by now, the good part only comes when it hopefully pays off later. Still, it’s nice to have a general idea of where things might be heading and how dynamics are evolving. Speaking of which, let’s start with Camille. She was clearly disturbed (and maybe a little jealous) by the casual closeness between Monique and Mia. This complicated by the fact that she and Monique actually seem to get along really well otherwise, could make for an interesting dynamic to build upon in the future. Next up, Ashley. It’s nice to see her and Mia’s relationship evolve and I like Mia’s heavy handed approach as well as Ashley’s mostly forgiving nature helping to smooth things over afterwards. Red Mia providing input and suggestions also helps building up possible directions in which their dynamic might evolve in the future. On to Lucy… she was kinda all over this update. Granted we haven't interacted with her that much earlier but her casual approach to cruelty caught me off guard. Not to say I think she was in the wrong or did anything disagreeable but rather that the way she reacts to and thinks about everything seems… strangely normalised? Maybe that’s supposed to hint at her having a darker background than expected. Additionally we have the way she glosses over and seems to treat red Mia like a completely different entity from normal Mia. I kinda wonder if red Mia is somehow influencing her somewhat to smooth things over in her mind cause she really seems to have changed her attitude towards her. When talking with her over the phone at the end of the update she doesn't even seem that hostile to red Mia anymore… Or maybe she is just playing nice. Ok, now let’s talk a bit about the actual content of the update. Starting off with the optional futa on male scene in the beginning. Full transparency, I am not really into it personally but I think it’s nice that the option is there. Other than that we had the Rana scene or Lucy's “show”, whatever you wanna call it. Speaking of which I wonder how well planned out it was on Lucy’s part or if Mia just got emotional and improvised. This scene is good. I do belong to the minority that doesn't really care for the fantastical smells and flavours for futa’s private parts but it wasn’t that big of a focus anyways. The angles are nice. The NTR aspect was nice. And red Mia’s expressions were really strong, love seeing unapologetic, indulgent sadism personified. Mixing it in with deciding Ethan’s fate was… an interesting choice. I enjoyed how dark it was and am interested in seeing possible future ramifications but I also kinda feel like it took me out of the actual H-scene a bit. Fun in its own way but not quite as erotically pleasing. So where does this leave us? Despite the one or two choices featured I kinda feel like Mia’s agency was lacking a bit. Narratively it feels like she goes in with one approach, gets emotionally goaded into a different one, regret’s it afterwards, glosses it over, repeat. I get part of the theme in the dom route is Mia being influenced by her ego (red Mia) to accept the darker parts of herself but right now it feels kinda inconsistent, maybe it will get better over time. Part of this is probably due to the fact that Lucy played such a big part in setting everything up for the main confrontation leaving Mia to feel more like she is being strung along, she doesn't seem all that enthused about the whole thing for most of the update. In any case, you shouldn’t take all my negative emotional reactions TOO seriously. As long as the narrative moves forward I am optimistic that things will continue to improve. And I am really happy about most story beats and exposition going on in the background. So all in all I’ll continue to be excited for what's to come.

Everything is good. There are some text lines where I think the two Mia's text colors for their names are mixed up.
