Progress Report 6.05.2026

You know what time it is?

Yep, it’s time for another progress report! 🎉🎉

Since the release a month ago, I’ve started working on the update, wrote some stuff, rendered some stuff, and at this point we have about 130 renders done.

I’ve went back to my old ways of doing things, in a sense. I think I found a nice balance between quality and quantity. Experience from the previous updates helped a ton with optimizing my workflow and such.

Last update, I wrote the skeleton of the script and then started working on the renders. This time, I’m doing the script and renders in tandem. Main plot points are marked in my head, so I can easily judge what works, if the amount of stuff I want to put in proves too overwhelming, and adjust when that happens. So far, so good.

On Discord, I asked you how you feel about the current release schedule, and if juggling between both paths each update is the way to go. I’d say most people are fine with how it is right now, and after reading your thoughts, I don’t think there is a perfect solution to it either, so I’ll just keep doing it as I’ve done so far. So yeah Dom update is next.

Also, I wanted to make another poll about the progress report schedule, as some of you seem unhappy with the current way. It might prove unnecessary, as I want to release them more often anyway so the platform doesn’t stay dead for weeks.
