The Dog Park Weekly Update 4.4
Happy Star Wars Day for those who celebrate! We're not doing anything, but it's always fun to scroll social media today. Tonight we're going to a new restaurant in Salt Lake City with Derek's dad and stepmom. We still have some family in town from my nephew's wedding, so trying to make the most of it!
Sprints & Events:
Tomorrow we'll be doing a liveshow sneak peek for the Amazing Readathon! This is available for Paws & Prose and Fictional Floofers tiers. It will be at 4pm MDT and the replay will be available for those that can't catch the liveshow. My hope is that the merch links will also be available for those tiers after the liveshow.
Wednesday we'll be joining Brittany again for reading sprints! We're both reading Fury Bound so we figured we'd do sprints and read together! This will be available for all tiers.
I am working on a week long patreon readathon for this month. It's going to be a test run for what I'm doing for Faceoff Weekend this year (thank you all for being my beta testers). It will start on May 18th and will be a page count style readathon. Stay tuned for details!
Upcoming Content:
Tomorrow will be my Book Haul, featuring BookCon and ApollyCon (along with some others. This past month was a big one...) If I can get it filmed and edited today, y'all will get early access but I am BEHIND this week...
Saturday will be the Amazing Readathon Announcement! I'll be premiering it at noon EDT. Because of having to schedule it, I won't be doing early access for this one (but I'll be giving all the information out in the livestream tomorrow)
I'm working on a Space themed vlog this week but it won't go up until later next week. I realized I had several books on my TBR that are space related, so a vlog naturally appeared.
Currently Reading:
I am 50 pages into Single Dad Dilemma. This is a filler book because I needed something I could finish in one day, and this was one I knew I could get through quickly and listen while working. Obviously not far into it yet, but it's classic Karla Sorensen, and I already love our two main characters.
I finished The Kiss Countdown by Etta Easton this morning and really enjoyed it! It grew on me slowly, but fake engagement is always a fantastic time.
My next read is going to be Love Galaxy by Sierra Branham. I got it in my Aardvark box, but didn't realize it doesn't come out until tomorrow, (so I won't have the audio until tomorrow). But I just found out they're a Utah author and they're doing an event tomorrow night I'd like to attend!
