The Dog Park Weekly Update 3.30
I have really been slacking with these updates, but honestly... life hasn't been that interesting? But I'm really trying to work on my schedule and getting back to a routine in April. Is that something doable since I'm traveling so much? Perhaps not, but we're going to try!
Life:
Life has been life-ing lately. I'm on a new medication from my therapist and we're trying to figure out dosages and stuff. It's been a mix of migraines, lack of energy, not sleeping well, and other side effects, BUT the good news is, I think we're nailing everything down. It's about time! haha.
April is going to be very busy with book events happening in the second half of the month, so I'm trying to work ahead.
Sprints & Events:
Sprints will be Wednesday this week. Time TBD, but likely early afternoon.
Paws & Prose and Fictional Floofers will have a 24 hour readathon this weekend! We're going to do an "Egg Hunt" where you'll get to fill your basket with "eggs" that will have reading and lifestyle prompts. It will start Friday evening with sprints and go all day Saturday as well.
Upcoming Content:
Today my Book haul/unhaul went live. I had books from publishers/authors as well as from some recent events that I went to this past month.
This week I'll also have my April TBR and an anticipated releases video for Q2. Let's just say... my TBR was not kind. Guess it thought being out of town a lot this month meant I needed more books!
I'm also finishing my final vlog for Realmathon. Not sure exactly when it will go live, but I'm finishing up my last book for that and then it'll go live whenever I can fit it in.
I will also have my April content calendar posted by tomorrow for Barks and Books and higher.
Currently Reading:
I started A Forbidden Alchemy by Stacey McEwan yesterday as the final book for my Libby Games vlog. Did I cheat a bit and pick the book I wanted to read? Perhaps, but I got the arc for book 2 sent to me, so I figured I should probably read the first one... I'm only about 20% in, but I'm enjoying it so far!
Have a wonderful week everyone and I appreciate you all! Thank you for your patience and grace recently while I've been figuring everything out!
