New Yellow Flag App
UPDATE (6/7/2026): Fuel control added, now AI opponents always start the race with full fuel and go back to full fuel after every pit stop.
New Yellow Flag App builds upon the previous version with even more features and additions.
New UI in the CMRT style with customizable layers so you only see what you want to see. (Also integrated into the Dash/Leader-Board app)
Three toggles for the user up from the previous two (Pass, Pace, Multi) meaning 8 total states you can be in.
Auto-Pilot integration so you can use co drivers with just this app and have the option for them to pit automatically and on command or in the initiated pit cycles.
Pace Car option for if you want a physical pace car to lead the field whenever you want.
Settings includes bindings options so you can choose what controls you want.
New smart pit cycle option that weighs fuel amount so cars do more realistic pit strategies for the initiated pit cycles.
Pass around and Pace modes for if you just want the field to go single file or if you want lapped cars to wave around. Class Pass and Pace modes are used to split classes up to organize the field during cautions.
GTD Pro class separate to put cars with the text file in their livery folder being put into their own class so GTD and GTD Pro cars are separated in race control.
Pit cycles and race starts also separate the classes, prototypes pace faster than the GT field in two wide mode for the race start so you have a split class start. And when pit cycles are initiated the GT cars pit one lap later for split class pit cycles.
Using all three toggles at one initiates the pit sequence and puts the app in the FCY mode.
You can chose three wide mode instead of double file for the Indianapolis 500.

Man, cars short fueling was the only issue I had with this app (though I think having them run some and restart the race fixed it), but of course you come in with the update to make that no longer a problem. Absolute GOAT
Yeah I'm pretty sure it was because they were calculating their own fuel mileage with the caution running in mind and thinking they could go longer assuming there would be caution running but then they would make their last pit stop but short fill and end up having to come in on the final lap if there wasn't another yellow. I literally won a Milwaukee IndyCar race because everyone in front of me except Mick Shumacher pitted on the last 2 laps and all I had to do was pass him lol
How long does it take for the cars to actually line up? I was pacing around bristol for 30 laps and they were single file with 2 car lengths in between cars. What settings/options do I change to fix this?
For most tracks you should be able to line up double file within one lap, for tracks under a mile I would say you need two laps before the race can begin in double file. What you should do is start in double file mode (N+M) but change to FCY mode (B only) as cars cross the start finish line the first time because they will be on lap 1 but also begin lap 1 and be out of order until everyone crosses the start/finish line once then go back to double file mode.
where can i find pace cars?
You can use any car you want as the pace car, you just need to put the special text file in it's liveries.
how do i make the safety car actually leave and box into the pits, ive tried so many things but it wont work. im trying to do a rolling start but the car wont pit
There is a button on the UI that you use to send the safety car in to the pits and release them at your discretion. Just make sure the pace car is correctly declared and the app doesn't just think it's a regular opponent.
Hey how do I add a pace car to this?
You need to put a text file inside the livery folder for the pace car you choose, exact details are in the readme of the app.
damn what ppf do you use?
Exilitay
buenas. como lo instalo? ya tengo la app instalada fcy_yellow_rollingstart.
Install with Content Manager like before. It will update the version.
I’m for sure gonna have to try this out
Certainly gonna test it out! But also, I was wondering if you could make more modern GT3 mods?
What GT3 mods would you like to see?
