Yellow Flag Safety Car App
This app allows for yellow flag and safety car race management that allow the user to initiate rolling starts, mid race breaks, race restarts, and pit stop cycles. The app is very simple, when under green flag normal racing the user only has two interface buttons, the entire interface is designed to not take up much space at all on the user's HUD. The two buttons are for Yellow Flag, and Pace Car, those two functions can also be triggered with the M and N key or any key you want to bind it to. The app effectively has four modes, when only the yellow flag is active, all cars are equally slowed down to 70 mph, this best simulates FCY conditions. When both yellow flag and pace car functions are active, the race goes into single file pace car mode, the leader is set to a slower speed and as the other cars catch up they are also slowed down to a certain slightly higher speed, and when they get too close to the car in front of them they are forced to back down so that they better maintain single file pacing, the pack goes 60 mph and cars catching up can go as fast as 90 mph. When only pace car is active and not yellow flag, this is double file pacing mode, it applies a set speed to the top three of around 50 mph, while all cars fourth place and back are allowed to go 70 mph, this results in neat double file lines. When either yellow flag or pace car is active, you also get the option to trigger pit stop requests, once the "Pit" button is pressed it sends a random set of AI to the pits, if you leave the slider on 0 it will send a random number of AI to the pits, you can also choose exactly how many AI will be sent to the pits. When they go to the pits they get full service and readjust their overall strategy.

I like this mod but is there a way to change the key binds I can't figure it out?
Yeah if you open the file near the top you should see where it has key M and N assigned, you can just change those to whatever. Or use an app like JoyToKey to assign a controller or wheel input to those keys or any other keys to activate the app without the keyboard.
let's hope you can figure out how to adapt some kind of stage racing app with this that would increase the immersion a lot
It's already a possibility, you just choose what laps to stage the yellows at ahead of time.
Hi, I only see the two buttons, "yellow flag" and "pace car," and the "pit" button. How do I activate the other functions, such as the rolling start? Which car is the pace car that enters the track? Thanks a lot.
Rolling start isn't really a separate function, you would simply activate the yellow flag soon after the race starts and use single file pacing or double file pacing for one pace lap until you are ready to lift the yellow flag and pace car to start the race. And there is no actual pace car that only enters the track during caution periods, rather the leading car acts as the pace car to keep everyone in a tight field.
Yo umm really good mod so far, i have a Assetto Corsa Offline Racing Series so this will help the only thing is the car that i spawn in ( i do CTRL-c to activate the ai driving) it just overtakes the cars in front so yup
Yeah it is not possible to control the player car in the same way even if it is an AI driving. However you can still somewhat let AI run under caution without it overtaking everyone as long as you enable the pit speed limit before activating AI copilot. They do still have the ability to pass other cars but they don't really do it since everyone is much closer and there is no room to pass, just make sure you still keep an eye on what your driver is doing to make sure it doesn't pass anyone.
