NASCAR Cup Series 2025 mod for Assetto Corsa (N25) is the newest and best available NASCAR mod. This mod features 12 total cars (four variations of the three manufacturers) in NASCAR there are actually different mechanical and aero packages depending on the track being run, in the NASCAR circuit there are four types of tracks:

Superspeedways like Daytona or Talladega are by far the fastest and the biggest tracks and part of the NASCAR regulations in an effort to increase safety, speeds and power are reduced here which leads to pack drafting racing where most if not all cars are in one pack and rely on the draft or slipstream to maintain higher speeds. This car visually is distinguishable by the big diffuser and big spoiler and in game is the (SS) version of the cars.

Road Courses are another part of the diverse NASCAR schedule, tracks like Watkins Glen and Sonoma are NASCAR road course classics. Unlike the rest, these cars are setup to turn left and right with a different suspension package, easily distinguishable with the Road Course wet weather kit including a windshield wiper, rear rain lights, mud flaps and of course the small spoiler and small diffuser, (RC) cars are for the road course.

Short Tracks are the birthplace of stock car racing and the home of grass roots oval racing, still a big part of NASCAR culture, Martinsville and Richmond Raceway come to mind. Similarly to Road Courses, the NASCAR short track package needs a looser (oversteer) balance with more turning ability in the front than the rear since there's more tight cornering, and this is observable with the small spoiler and small diffuser meaning more frontward balance and a loose car, the Short Track package is the (ST).

Intermediates are the most common track in modern day NASCAR since the cookie cutter era which saw tracks like Kansas and Las Vegas, but also venues like Pocono and Dover use the Intermediate track package. Because of the higher speeds and larger corner radiuses, these cars need a tighter (understeer) balance for more stability and speed into the corners, however overall they actually use more downforce in this configuration with the medium spoiler and big diffuser, this being the (S) variant.

The Intermediate (S) and Superspeedway (SS) packages have only NASCARs standard tire with yellow lettering, however the Road Course (RC) and Short Track (ST) have a wet weather tire with white lettering and treaded contact patch, the Short Track cars also have the softer option tire with red lettering are used in select Short Track races where typically teams are limited to two sets which provide a vast advantage in pace and lap speed with less durability being a softer tire.

This mod comes with skins for all 36 full time teams as well as some part timers, however as more skins are created we will put out skin extension packs on a monthly basis however early access to parts of the accumulated packs can be shared and downloaded from my Discord server, where you can also share your screenshots, see WIP updates and engage with the wonderful community we have thanks to all of you.

I've made sure to make this mod with the highest quality standards to my best ability, you will be able to enjoy very high quality and detailed models with visual features based on each track package just like in real life. As well as many extra features like working roof and hood flaps (bounded to extra a) opening hood (bounded to extra b) and window net going inward (bounded to extra c). There are also working windshield wipers that move with wind and g-force, as well as automatically activating with rainy conditions along with the rear windshield and rear bumper flashing rain lights, all for the Road Course (RC) cars. Clutch gas and brake pedals move along with driver model moving for those inputs, additionally the sequential shifter moves with the driver model when up shifting or downshifting. Visual features like motion blurred rims, custom sponsored stickers on the interior, shaking and glowing exhaust are what make this mod the best NASCAR mod on the market.

We've made sure to make this mod accommodate all users, for those who prioritize fidelity and high resolution quality textures in the full mod and skin packs, however for users who prefer better performance and better frame rates with a lower resolution skin pack that also takes up less space, and boost graphic performance for those who need it.

There's a spreadsheet out there with every track in existence. You can also get a few of them off my Discord server.

Loving this cars so far but only two things to consider, on the interiors there's some reflections that seem just too exaggerated even with some adjustments on Pure and Sol, also the display has a werid resolution like it is stretched or something and you can't read the numbers correctly because of that, anyway the modpack is great, thanks for your work :).

how come the realistic crash physics don't work for me?

L
Loganmanex AC Mods · August 24, 2025

Do you mean the flaps opening? You have to press a button to activate those.

Hey dude, ive asked this question before and he said that there wasn't really any good models for the trucks.

M
Mac · July 21, 2025

hey idk if you have a solution i been trying to find one but why do the ais all crash on like short tracks (ex: bristol, martinsville, etc.) i have tried two different forms of bristol but the ai just shoots straight up to the t1 and t3 wall. if you have any recommendations i would appreciate it

L
Loganmanex AC Mods · July 21, 2025

The Legion Bristol is the one I use and prefer, it has the best AI and the lights work, make sure you use the ST version of the car, if that doesn't work use the RC version. Also there's a lot of settings you can mess with CSP and in the drive menu like strength and aggression being the most important.

Hi, will you update the nascar xfinity to run in Super Speedways or Road tracks?

L
Loganmanex AC Mods · July 12, 2025

I have plans to eventually update the Xfinity cars, I'm not sure if I will make SS and RC versions, I don't have the right model parts like spoiler and wet weather kit to put on the car, also unlike the Next Gen Cup car, the Xfinity car is physically very similar between the different track types.

Hi guys! Great job! There is a ton of work in this mods. Just one small thing: Nascar SS cars use to have a fuel consumption of 4 mpg US gallons. Us gallon is not the same (in liters) as imperial gallon. The fuel consumption of your cars are the half of a Ferrari 458 GT2 (kunos values). Thanks for the amazing work and if you have time please, change this value (I think that the calculation for the fuel tank is wrong aswell).

L
Loganmanex AC Mods · July 5, 2025

Yeah I'm not sure what happened but when the fuel consumption was first set it worked fine and fuel lasted as long as in real life, nothing engine related changed to the physics since then but now the fuel last way too long. I messed around with it and changing the 0.02 to 0.05 might have better more realistic fuel consumption.

M
MCL4EVER · June 18, 2025

Love the mod but please dude, optimise the kn5 !!!! We don't need kn5 that weigh 400mb, it's just way too much - and against Kunos' pipeline. There's a way to downsize it to a more acceptable size (110-140) without losing quality !

Could you possibly as an easter egg add the Eric Cartman car from the South Park NASCAR episode as an easter egg in the skin pack 1?

L
Loganmanex AC Mods · June 16, 2025

The Vagisil one? Lmao I was always thinking about that, for future Skin Packs it will be just official irl paint schemes however I have thought about it before doing a set of just fictional skins, or meme ones like the Vagisil, Carrot Top, etc.

BRIAN Watts · June 15, 2025

Great mods , I have noticed in the Camry and Mustangs cockpit view exterior reflections underneath the instrument binnacle, this is not apparent on the Camaro. Once again thanks for a great mods.

J
Justin thompson · June 15, 2025

Visually this is easily the best next gen mod out hands down. physics wise there's some work to do. Especially on the road course car, at lower speeds the cars are insanely unpredictable and lose traction way to easily. Having to use throttle control is fine but only when its realistic. I was trying to race at Mexico and the slow speed corners are a nightmare with the car wanting to spin, on and off throttle. This could probably be fixed somewhat if the gear ratios could be modified but for some reason they can't.

L
Loganmanex AC Mods · June 15, 2025

I think most the physics problems you or others might be experiencing is mostly because of the setup, which has not been worked on and the default setup isn't super nice. The default setup on al the cars are the same which is probably why the Road Course one feels off, also in general when dealing with oval cars you basically have to make your own setup as the mod creator can only setup the car symmetrically, and on an oval most things should be asymmetrical from left to right and that has to be done manually and saved as a setup. Which is also a pain because improving the setup means you are faster than the AI which is already really tough to get AI to go fast enough on ovals and the workaround is saving the ai_default setup which you would have to make for every track and save on all three car versions.

Thanks for the 25 mod. I'm getting some flickering on all three car makes from the lights both back and front, the grills and the green circle that goes around the gas filler opening. The flickering is like if the car body is red, the grill flickers back and forth red to black. I'm only checking it in replay mod. I checked in the cm showroom under livery_sticker view mapping and there was no mapping for it. It was blank. I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it. It just might be on my end. Video drivers, etc. Thanks

L
Loganmanex AC Mods · June 1, 2025

Yeah we know about the issue but like you said it's only a problem in replays when zoomed in from a far distance, and it's because the mesh that has the template body decals is a separate mesh to the underlaying body mesh and so it bugs out when at a distance and apparent when zoomed in. I'm not sure what you mean with view mapping.

I replaced the sound of these cars with the Garage 56 Le Mans NASCAR Camaro by Rogue Designs. But when I race against the AI, they just hit the rev limiter non-stop so I can't even hear the sounds of the cars. Is there a way to disable the rev limiter sound? Or is there a way to get the AI to not hit the limiter so much. I found a couple options to turn it off in the extconfig.ini file but I'm still getting the limiter sounds. This mod is great by the way.

L
Loganmanex AC Mods · May 30, 2025

The sound like that is not editable so you will always have the limiter sound, the only way to reduce it is by lowering the powerband and rev limit of the actual car which would likely still be slower and less accurate.
