It's obvious that there is an increase in interest for more manufacturers entering IMSA and WEC competition as LMDh and LMH have become more popular and successful prototype regulations, after hearing McLaren CEO Zak Brown's opinions on potential future investments in endurance racing participation, its no question that McLaren would be a likely appearance in IMSA and WEC racing as the LMDh regulations have been extended to 2029. Arrow McLaren's partnership with Hendricks Motorsport for NASCAR driver Kyle Larson appearing in the Indianapolis 500 in a Arrow McLaren IndyCar powered by Chevrolet is what inspired the team and manufacturer specs for this concept.

This fictional concept is based on the idea of IndyCar team Arrow McLaren expanding enterprises into IMSA competition, as well as a one off Le Mans appearance. This mod also features a full time #05 entry piloted by Alexander Rossi and Callum Ilott, with Pato O'Ward as a third endurance driver, then there is the endurance cup #17 entry that sees four drivers including Nolan Siegel, Kyle Larson, Christian Lundgaard, and Jimmie Johnson. Both teams would share many assets and resources with the Arrow McLaren team and the #17 team receiving more support from Hendricks Motorsports.
