small bts project for maelle
hiiiii! sword aside i took some pics of some small details i did on maelle's shirt to make it look a little more worn like it does in the game, this was my first time doing this technique myself so it's not perfect, but I've seen it done with a lot of horror game cosplays and wanted to give it a try! After the paint I also had to cut off the initial sleeves and re-sew them on to make it a 3/4 sleeve shirt but I don't really have a tutorial for that because it was so chopped LMAO. If anyone cosplays and wants to try this yourself, just get black paint (or paint many shades darker than the color of your shirt) and carefully start at the seams of the shirt and blend it out from there! The ruffled parts I added some streaks of black/grey underneath some so that it looked a bit more dimensional, and it came out nice! This process only takes 30 minutes to an hour, but take your time with it because once the paint is on the shirt it's not coming off LOLLL <3

It came out so good. That's a really good tip.
Looks fancy and very Victorian like nice

Yay, late night patreon! This cosplay had me like: Why don't we dress up like that anymore? So classy.
you became the thing you swore to destroy. you are painting things. YOU ARE THE PAINTRESS NOW💔
I don't know what kind of paint you used? But you can also get powdered dye by Rit, or for less permanent solution, powdered food dye, which comes out with vegetable oil. The makeup brush is a good choice.
This is really cool, love the bts stuff and giving tips to help others
Thanks for the tip. You do awesome work and I appreciate the advice.
That awesome!!! 😮😮 W work celebi 🔥🔥
I love these bts posts!!!! Thank you Celebi. Your cosplays really make me want to get into cosplay myself. You work hard and it pays off. Thank you for showing us
