Devlog 0.75 – What’s Coming Next

In principle, I’ve already finished all the planned content for this update and am now writing some new material. I have the time. The update is currently being coded, and I’ve completed my part of the work.
Normally, I would already be working on content for the next update, but right now we’re running a social experiment. We’re checking whether a big update actually monetizes well. The answer is no. After the release, we’ll most likely return to the old system. Although we’ll see — I’m just a pessimist.
So, here’s what is definitely going to be in the next update:
Nathan’s Bar — the event that won the vote. Can be unlocked both before and after Paris. Not tied to a specific point in the story. The trigger is the situation after the bar where Nathan was spying and decided to try and steal Emma. There are no alternative ways to access this branch yet, and most likely there won’t be. It would be nice, but resources aren’t unlimited.
Off-topic question. What is even going on in the world? Why is there this constant drama around characters with different skin colors? This is me, a guy from the backwoods where the wildest rumors circulate, asking you this? Where is your tolerance? I could understand it if we used stereotypes often. But Nathan, for example, is exactly the same kind of character as everyone else.
Quite a lot of content will be added for: Justin, Stevens, Victor.
Extended branches: Voyeur, Liliana, Samantha.
A big scene with Tyler (but it will have conditions). It is also connected to Justin — these events are intertwined.
The confrontation with Sophie is continued and has reached its main phase.
Plus many small additions: the dance studio, selfies, and various other little things.
The game will last exactly 6 days, or possibly until Sunday evening — I haven’t decided yet. This means you’ll be able to get several events that couldn’t be obtained before Paris in the main game. This includes the lake and photoshoots that are significantly ahead of the current story. But monetization is also necessary. Most people can play for free precisely because a minority supports us. And supports us very well. Thank you all.
The main block of the update is the corporate branch, which is central. There turned out to be quite a lot of sex in it — even I was surprised when I started editing and put all the scattered events together into one whole. Maybe there will be less in the next update — I don’t know yet, I haven’t written it =) And right now the haters are like “aaa, he has no plan...” There is a plan, there just isn’t a full script yet. These are different things.
That’s all for now. The deadlines remain the same, I think we’ll meet them just fine. We’ll start the first testing soon.

В принципе, я уже закончил весь запланированный контент для текущего обновления и сейчас дописываю новый. Время у меня есть. Обновление сейчас активно кодится, свою часть работы я полностью закрыл.
Раньше я бы уже работал над контентом для следующего обновления, но сейчас у нас идёт социальный эксперимент. Мы проверяем, монетизируется ли большое обновление. Ответ — нет. После релиза, скорее всего, вернёмся к старой схеме. Хотя посмотрим, я просто пессимист.
Что точно будет в следующем обновлении:
Бар Натана — эвент, который победил в голосовании. Можно получить как до Парижа, так и после. Не привязан к конкретному моменту прохождения. Триггер — ситуация после бара, где Натан подглядывал и решил отбить Эмму. Альтернативных входов в эту ветку пока нет и, скорее всего, не будет. Было бы неплохо, но ресурсы не резиновые.
Довольно много контента получат: Джастин, Стивенс и Виктор.

Большая сцена с Тайлером (но у неё будут условия). Она также связана с Джастином — эти эвенты переплетены и взаимосвязаны.

Игра продлится точно на 6 дней или, возможно, до вечера воскресенья (я ещё не решил). То есть вы сможете получить ряд эвентов, которые в основной игре нельзя было получить до Парижа. Это и озеро, и фотосъёмки, которые сильно опередили текущий сюжет.
Большой блок обновления — это корпоративная ветка, которая является центральной. Секса в ней получилось довольно много, даже я сам удивился, когда начал редактуру и собрал все разрозненные эвенты в единое целое. Может, в следующем обновлении его будет поменьше — пока не знаю, я его ещё не писал =)
И да, сейчас хейтеры традиционно кричат «у него нет плана». План есть, полного сценария пока нет. Это разные вещи.
На этом всё. Сроки остаются прежними, думаю, мы в них вполне уложимся. Скоро начнём первые тестирования.

Per quanto riguarda la monetizzazione è importante che ti seguano anche con poco ma sempre avendo fiducia nelle tue capacità, potrebbe anche esserci qualcuno che una tantum possa premiarti per qualche mese con un maggiore importo e credo che questo sia una buona cosa, diventa brutto se abbandonino senza neanche il minimo, a me per esempio piacerebbe premiare il tuo sforzo una tantum, ma poi tornerei a ciò che realmente posso fare ma senza abbandonare e sempre garantendo un minimo.

I don't see the connection with the game, because of the colored characters in the game? Which leads me to ask this question?
Tough off topic question - I reckon we as humans are wired in a way were we like to view things as simple as possible - as to not take up too much space in our brain when we think - knowledge wise. The problem is not sometimes falling into a scheme were we go back to prejudices ... but to be able to recognize it and steer clear of it when it happens. But that takes up time and will power. Also you have to be wired that way (empathy, sympathy, caring) I reckon there are a few factors more - but again it is a loaded question which is tough to answer because so many different people with different views on life and society ... or how they grew up
There is a Hispanic popular saying, "Pa' donde va la gente, va Vicente", most people do turn out to be followers rather than to remain independent; Racism in the US. is bad and it is not only against Afro-Decedents or Afro-Americans, but all people who do not have white skin. Hispanics for example have Brown skin, not white skin in spite the fact that plenty of us Hispanics do have White skin and a 'white' Hispanic heritage, Asians have 'yellowish' skin, so we ALL fall short of being White Anglo-Saxon Protestants, commonly known as WASPS. I must remind you that people ARE different as a whole but at the same time we do have a multitude of Common Denominators that brings us to be the Global Community of Man. You argue that Shorter updates to the game Monetize More than a Long one, I for one do not see the significant difference when it comes to the Money you make as a Game Developer, I like Boundaries of Morality very much and I always look forward to the updates that you put out, that is the truth; and for the record, not all of us like BBC. or big black content, I rather have Lesbian content any day of the week, and having already had Two Bisexual Girlfriends when I was younger can vouch for that experience.
People in general don't have problems with guys like Nathan. I think that there's many people that -when it comes to adult visual novels specifically- have a "BBC NTR" fatigue, since in those games, it's always about "weak, ugly or small" white husband.
I can understand that, but we don’t roll with stereotypes. As for our Nathan — well, he’s pretty average. Okay, maybe a little above average. :)
Are people pushing back on you for an interracial scene with Nathan? Or is it that they are wanting one that has you questioning why?

No matter what happens, what do drawn characters even have to do with it? Besides, people are the same everywhere.
You are absolutely right, Novel; Nathan is just an ordinary guy, head over heels for Emma. That is exactly how you’ve portrayed him. Anyone who claims otherwise is being dishonest. Just keep moving forward at your own pace as you intended; your work is fantastic—it can’t be said enough.

But maybe you don't realize the hornet's nest you are stepping on. For me, answers to questions like this are embedded in history., Like the ancient attack route into Muscovy was through Ukraine. Like the status of blacks in the US is tied to slavery and the American Civil war. How was human slavery even possible? Because people could tell themselves that blacks were not really human. And in the American South, people still think that way. As they meanwhile insist that they are not racist and it is actually reverse racism to accuse them of that. Nasty business all around. And the politics of it is so very vicious. God forgive us.
And what should I be afraid of? Unsubscribes? Well, it goes both ways. No subscriptions — no Emma. You English speakers are supposed to be more tolerant than I am. Personally, I’ve almost never even seen guys like Nathan. I have absolutely no problem with them.
I’m 100% with you, Novel; I’ve always trusted your magnificent work. It would be wonderful if the next update could arrive before August, but if not, we’ll wait confidently as well. 🫶🏻😋
