Analysis of Your Comments on Least Favorite Events

Hey everyone! Thank you for your activity in the last post. I’ve carefully read through all the comments and decided to reply to the most common points.

Police Car Photoshoot

Many of you found this scene too silly, unconvincing, and “porn-cliché.” Some also pointed out the strange behavior of the police officer and the fact that Emma agrees under pressure, which feels out of character for her.

Developer’s Response: The police officer’s strange behavior is simple to explain — it was a setup, pre-arranged between Andrew and the cop. That’s why if Emma decides to go all the way, the officer quickly leaves and Andrew hurriedly drives her away.

As for Emma’s character — the canonical Emma could indeed refuse (and that option exists in the game). But if your version of Emma chose a different path, that’s your playstyle, and we won’t judge you for it.

Liliana Events

Some players feel these events are too drawn out and feel “teenage-like,” even though the characters are adults.

Developer’s Response: Yes, they are adults. But Liliana has never been with a man, even though she’s around 20 years old. That’s entirely possible. Tyler enjoys these forbidden relationships (he is married, after all, and she’s his protégé), but he’s not ready to take the next step yet. The slow pace here is intentional. Tyler is still human — he understands that Liliana would probably be better off with someone her own age. But he can’t bring himself to let go. Or maybe he can… that’s in your hands.

Paris Event (with Victor)

The main criticism is that it happened too early and felt forced.

Developer’s Response: Moving it later wouldn’t be beneficial for us. This event gave the project a significant financial boost, and money is motivation to keep developing the game at a good pace.

Neighbor Events

Some players find these events “creepy” — the characters feel more like predators than real people.

Developer’s Response: Everyone has different tastes. You don’t have to play these routes — there’s enough content in the game for every preference.

Other Notes

• French translation quality — Unfortunately, we don’t have a French editor (or editors for most languages besides English). We apologize for that.

• Discussing unfinished events — We understand it’s not always convenient, but without it, it’s hard to keep interest and support the project’s development.

On Branch Development

We see your wishes regarding the plumber, public transport, colleagues at work, etc. Some of these are already in progress.

Our Development Philosophy

What we do:

• Give you influence through polls (the winning event gets major content in the update).

• Listen to feedback and fix bugs.

• Try to stick to realistic deadlines.

• Continue developing even branches that aren’t my personal favorites (for example, the Voyeur route).

What we don’t do:

• Radically change the project’s concept. Many of you are familiar with our previous game — Void’s Calling. This is not a coincidence. We consciously chose this approach and believe it’s the right one for us. But you’re always free to choose other projects with a different concept.

• Remove already introduced important characters. Either all the characters will play their roles and reach the finale with us… or we all sink together. You can fall from any height. But we won’t abandon them. They’re ours.

The core concept of the game is the relationship between Tyler and Emma, their sexuality, and how it changes through temptation (or even without full-blown cheating). For this, we need both protagonists and their potential partners.

Liliana, by the way, is one of my absolute favorite characters. So she’s definitely not going anywhere 😊 I even increased her content in this update after some attacks on one of my favorite girls (I’m being ironic, of course).

As for adding new characters — not for now. It’s more important to properly develop the ones we already have.

If someone wants to write: “Why run polls if you’re not going to remove characters anyway?” — I suggest rereading the previous post first.

It clearly said: “Your least favorite event”.

We were asking about a specific event in the game, not about characters in general. There’s a big difference.

I ended up having to answer a question that wasn’t actually asked. So it’s simpler to clearly set the boundaries once than to keep receiving the same type of messages. Yes, some will be disappointed, some will be happy, some will accept it, and some won’t. But at least it’s honest and transparent. Isn’t it?

Привет всем! Спасибо за активность в прошлом посте. Я внимательно прочитал все комментарии и решил ответить на самые частые замечания.

Фотосессия в полицейской машине

Многие считают эту сцену слишком глупой, неубедительной и «порно-клише». Также отмечали странное поведение полицейского и то, что Эмма соглашается под давлением, что якобы не вяжется с её характером.

Ответ разработчика:

·         Странное поведение полицейского объясняется просто — это постановка, заранее оговоренная между Эндрю и копом. Именно поэтому, если Эмма решает идти до конца, полицейский быстро сваливает, а Эндрю увозит её.

·         Что касается характера Эммы — каноничная Эмма действительно могла бы отказаться (и такой вариант в игре есть). Но если ваша Эмма выбрала другой путь — это ваш отыгрыш, и мы его не осуждаем.

События с Liliana

Некоторые игроки считают их слишком затянутыми и «подростковыми», хотя персонажи уже взрослые.

Ответ разработчика:

Да, они взрослые. Но у Лилианы никогда не было опыта с мужчинами, хотя ей около 20 лет. Это вполне возможно. Тайлер тоже наслаждается этими отношениями, но он женат и пока не готов сделать следующий шаг. Медленный темп здесь — осознанный выбор. Тайелр все же человечен, и понимает, что Лилиане больше подошел бы парень её возраста. Но и отказаться не может. Или может, в ваших руках.

Парижское событие (с Victor)

Критика в основном сводится к тому, что оно произошло слишком рано и выглядит вынужденным.

Ответ разработчика:

Переносить его позже нам невыгодно. Это событие серьёзно помогло проекту финансово, а деньги — это мотивация продолжать работать над игрой в нормальном темпе.

События с соседями

Часть игроков считает их «creepy» — персонажи выглядят больше охотниками, чем людьми.

Ответ разработчика:

У всех разное восприятие. Вы не обязаны проходить эти ветки — в игре достаточно контента на любой вкус.

Другие замечания

• Качество французского перевода — к сожалению, у нас нет редактора французского (как и для большинства других языков, кроме английского). Приносим извинения.

• Незавершённые события — мы понимаем, что обсуждать их не очень удобно, но без этого сложно поддерживать интерес и развитие проекта.

О развитии веток

Мы видим ваши пожелания по ремонтнику, общественному транспорту, коллегам и т.д. Часть из них уже в работе.

Наша философия разработки и развития:

Что мы делаем:

• Даём вам влияние через опросы (победившее событие получает крупное обновление).

• Прислушиваемся к обратной связи и исправляем баги.

• Стараемся соблюдать реальные сроки.

• Продолжаем развивать даже те ветки, которые лично мне не самые близкие (например, Подглядывающий).

Чего мы не делаем:

• Кардинально менять концепцию проекта. Многие из вас знакомы с нашим предыдущим проектом — Void’s Calling. Это не случайность. Мы осознанно выбрали такой подход к игре и считаем его правильным. Но вы можете выбирать проекты с другой концепцией.

• Удалять уже введённых важных персонажей. Либо все персонажи отыграют свои роли и дойдут с нами до финала… либо мы все вместе потонем. С любых вершин можно упасть. Но мы не бросим их. Они — наши.

Главная концепция игры — это отношения Тайлера и Эммы, их сексуальность и то, как они меняются в процессе искушений (или даже без полноценных измен). Для этого нужны оба главных героя и их потенциальные партнёры.

Лилиана, кстати, — один из моих самых любимых персонажей. Так что она точно никуда не денется 😊 Я даже после некоторых «наездов» на одну из моих любимых девушек в этом обновлении увеличил для неё количество контента. (я иронизирую)

Что касается вопроса о добавлении новых персонажей — пока нет. Сейчас важнее качественно развить тех, кто уже есть.

Если кто-то захочет написать: «Зачем тогда проводить опросы, если вы всё равно не собираетесь удалять персонажей?» — предлагаю сначала перечитать предыдущий пост.

Там было чётко написано: «Ваш нелюбимый эвент».

То есть мы спрашивали про конкретное событие в игре, а не про персонажей в целом. Это большая разница.

Мне пришлось отвечать на вопрос, который изначально не стоял. Поэтому проще один раз честно расставить границы, чем потом получать однотипные сообщения. Да, кого-то это разочарует, кого-то обрадует, кто-то смирится, а кто-то нет. Но это честно и открыто. Разве нет?
