Project Update: Testing & Progress.
Hey everyone! Here is a brief look at where we stand with the upcoming release.
Testing Status: We are currently in the middle of active testing. To be honest, it’s been a bit tougher than expected. There are more bugs than I’d like to see, but we are managing. This update is complex, featuring four different endings and numerous conditional checks that change dialogues based on your choices. Because of this, the initial release might be a bit rougher than usual, but we are pushing hard to polish it.
We Need Your Feedback: I would be incredibly grateful for any bug reports. Don’t hesitate to report something even if you aren’t 100% sure it’s a bug. Every bit of information helps.
Want to become a Tester? I get asked this a lot. You don’t need to wait for a new build to start. You can test the current version right now — I’m sure there are things that can be improved or fixed. This is the best way to demonstrate your creativity and attention to detail. Feel free to send me a file with your suggestions, along with relevant save files and explanations.
My Perspective: When I bring a tester on board, I rely on them. Sending out a build and receiving no feedback is, essentially, a waste of time. A tester’s job is to help make the project better. After playing through the game hundreds of times, I’ve developed "tunnel vision" — it’s hard for me to catch small flaws anymore. I need your fresh eyes to help catch what I might be missing.

О тестах: Сейчас мы находимся в активной фазе тестирования. Признаюсь честно: идет тяжелее, чем хотелось бы. Ошибок вылазит больше обычного, но мы справляемся. В этом обновлении огромное количество проверок и четыре разных финала. Диалоги динамически меняются в зависимости от ваших решений, и это создает «эффект домино» для багов. Возможно, на старте состояние сборки будет чуть менее идеальным, чем я привык, но мы делаем всё возможное.
Нужна ваша помощь: Буду очень благодарен за каждый присланный баг. Не стесняйтесь писать, даже если вы не уверены, ошибка это или фича. Сейчас важна любая зацепка.
Как стать тестером? Меня часто об этом спрашивают. Чтобы попасть в команду, не нужно ждать новую версию. Начните с текущей — там точно есть что улучшить или исправить. Это лучший способ показать вашу внимательность и креатив. Присылайте файл с вашими предложениями и прикрепляйте к ним сохранения (saves) с пояснениями.
Моя позиция: Для меня тестер — это человек, на которого я рассчитываю. Если я выслал копию, а в ответ тишина — это просто потерянное время. Задача тестера — помогать делать проект лучше. У меня самого уже сильно «замылен глаз», я прошел игру сотни раз и могу просто не замечать очевидных недочетов. Свежий взгляд — это то, что сейчас жизненно необходимо.

This game is not even close to its Ending people.
So, this mean, that the game must started from begining? I mean old saves wouldn't be right?

I suspect Lilliana and Samantha don't count as endings. So the four endings are Emma and: Victor Stevens Justin photog and loyalty path doesn't count as an ending?
I'm hoping for an eventual ending where she corrupts the kid spying on her in the yard. Turns him into her little plaything, makes a man out of him.

I’d be happy to help out as a tester if you still need one. It’s certainly a big responsibility and a challenge, in my view, to distinguish between what’s actually being tested and what we’d like to happen—or how we’d like it to happen—but this game is definitely worth a go.

Excited for the update. Testing something with all the different outcomes and dialogue variables has to be a nightmare. Mad respect to devs like yourselves and others like Dr Pink Cake. I can't imagine! All the hard work shows in the game though!
I always go through all the paths to see the cool things you’ve hidden in them. This game fascinates me a lot, but I’m afraid I might get lost somewhere in these expanding paths.
It's possible, but this is a role-playing game. At least, that's what we’re trying to make it.

For each of the three endings from the previous update, are there four endings in the new update??
Dialogues change and choices shift depending on the endings... testing this whole thing is one hell of a fascinating nightmare.
