Mod Updates & Accessibility Feedback Wanted
Hi everyone,
An update for Avoid Me is now ready (DSA has also been updated for parity). The previous update introduced an issue that could cause avoidance to fail during group conversations, so this update focuses on correcting that behavior and improving compatibility with more EA socials.
Before getting into the patch notes, I’m also looking to hear from any simmers who use screen readers.
I’ve been developing a mod intended to make the game more accessible for players with limited vision, and I’d love to collect feedback from the people who would actually use it. If you’re interested, or know someone who might be, please feel free to reach out!
Avoid Me
Fixed an issue where sims sharing a conversation with someone they're avoiding will no longer keep group-chatting with them
Fixed an issue where "Allow Romance" could permanently disappear while a forever romance avoidance was still active (e.g. after an age-up mismatch or orientation change), leaving no way to undo it; the undo now always shows while the avoidance exists
Roughly 60 previously uncategorized EA socials now respect avoidance

I am new to your mods, but I've loved using several of them so far! I think I might need some help with DSA, though. Lately, when I have it in my game and I try to edit a sim in CAS, all the buttons are gone once CAS loads, and I can't click anything to exit the game. I'm not sure what I did wrong. 😅
Hmm. I’m not sure that would be a DSA issue. It doesn’t touch anything related to CAS. Probably related to a custom likes/dislikes mod.
I've been visually impaired since birth due to a brain bleed and would absolutely use a mod that helps me, and people like me, play the game more comfortably! While I do use the in game accessibility option, I feel that it can be improved upon, so if you can do it, you, my dude, would be a true hero! Thank you for showing us visually impaired Simmers some love! <3

I just have to say I love your mods and the way accessibility is such an important feature to you.
Appreciate the accessibility queries, especially as someone who had very low vision quality until recently. Hopefully you can get that going :)
