Hi everyone,
I've got an update for More Romance Styles that includes a new Romance Style, as well as some changes to Assertive & Passive Romance Styles.
👉 More Romance Styles
New romance style: Mischievous 😈
Turn-On: Sims gain Romantic Satisfaction from Mischief interactions, and from initiating Mean interactions with their partner.
Turn-Off: Sims lose Romantic Satisfaction from these interactions.
How it works for Mean interactions
For Mischief interactions, this Romance Style functions the same as the EA ones. But for Mean interactions, it is a bit more nuanced:
Default behavior: mean interactions lower Romantic Satisfaction.
Initiator → Recipient: if the Initiator has Mischievous Turn-Off, they lose more; if they have Mischievous Turn-On, they gain instead. Traits like Good reduces the impact of gains if the Recipient has a Mischievous Turn-Off.
Recipient → Initiator: if the Recipient has Mischievous Turn-Off, they lose more. Traits like Low Self-Esteem or Embarrassed moods reduces the impact of losses on the Recipient’s side.
PDA adjustments
PDA Turn-On/Turn-Off now fires as a modifier, rather than a loot. This basically means it now scales the Relationship Satisfaction effect of the chosen Romance interaction instead of triggering an additional effect.
Quality Time adjustments
With the Quality Time Turn-On, the gain is boosted.
✨The gain now turns into a loss, however, if the Sim has a dislike for the activity they are doing.
With the Quality Time Turn-Off, the gain is replaced with a loss.
✨ The loss now increases if the Sim has a dislike for the activity they are doing. The loss is halved if you have my Relationship Satisfaction Tweaks mod and the Sim is empathetic to their partners needs.
👉 Assertive & Passive Romance Styles
Assertive and Passive Turn-On/Turn-Off now fires as modifiers, rather than loots. This basically means it now scales the Relationship Satisfaction effect of the chosen Romance interaction instead of triggering an additional effect.
