Social Variety: Sensible Autonomy

The full list of interactions that more tests have been added to for autonomous selection. Ctrl/Cmd + F is your friend if you're looking for a specific interaction.

Base Game

  •  Push-Ups & Sit-Ups

    • Only triggers if your Sim is at a Gym; OR at a Park and is Energized and (Likes Fitness or is Active or has the Energetic Lifestyle); OR on their owned or rented lot with the same Energized + (Likes Fitness / Active / Energetic Lifestyle) gate; OR if the action is encouraged by Getaway OR encouraged by Small Business.

  • Serenade

    • Only triggers if City Living is installed and the Sim has either Singing skill ≥ 3 and doesn't dislike singing, or has the “Likes Singing” preference; otherwise, if City Living is not installed, the interaction triggers if Sims have Charisma skill ≥ 3 or have the Music Lover or Romantic trait. Sims in a bad mood can’t autonomously serenade.

  • Complain About Local Youths

    • Only triggers for Sims who are Elders or have the Grouch or Hates Children trait.

  • Discuss Local Fishing Spots

    • Only triggers for Sims who don't dislike fishing.

  • Use of Clay Blob and Future Cube

    • Only triggers if the Sim is not acting as a Host, Guest, or Date, and is not at a bar, club, gym, lounge, retail store, relaxation center, restaurant, karaoke bar, Magic HQ, Mountain Excursion, Onsen, or Cemetery; OR if the interaction is encouraged by a Club rule, a Customer rule, or a Hobby Class.

Vampires

  • Complain About Sunlight

    • Only triggers for Vampires without the maximum sun resistance perk.

Seasons

  • Holiday celebration socials – Blow Horns, Throw Confetti, Spin Noisemaker, Share Spirit/Excitement, Ask If Has Been Good or Bad

    • Sims may autonomously perform these festive actions if they’re in very upbeat moods (Very Happy, Playful, Very Playful, or Hysterical), or have cheerful-type traits (Cheerful, Perky, Cringe, Chased by Death or Father Winter Baby) and aren’t in a bad mood; Party Animals may do them if acting as a guest/host at a party, and Sims with the Dance Machine trait may do them at venues like bars, lounges, clubs, the ruins, Ocean Bluff or Chalet Gardens.

  • Be Thankful

    • Only triggers for Sims with good‑mannered traits who don’t have Bad Manners and have at least 15 friendship with the target.

  • Belly Laugh

    • Only triggers if Sims are in a Very Happy, Playful, Very Playful or Hysterical mood and don’t have the Hates Children trait, OR if Sims have traits such as Cheerful, Perky, Cringe, Chased by Death or Father Winter Baby and aren’t in a bad mood.

  • Complain About [Holiday]

    • Only triggers if Sims have curmudgeonly traits OR if they’re in a bad mood (Angry, Sad, Stressed or Uncomfortable) OR if they have a trait that doesn't like one of the active holiday traditions.

  • Holiday toasts

    • Only triggers if a Sim is in a Confident mood and at least 15 friendship with the target, OR if they have the Party Animal trait and are acting as a guest/host at a social event.

  • Holiday singing

    • Only triggers if City Living is installed Sims and Sims have a Singing skill ≥ 3 and don’t dislike singing, or if they have the Likes Singing preference; If City Living is not installed, Sims need Charisma skill ≥ 3 or the Music Lover trait. In all cases, Sims in a bad mood won’t sing autonomously.

  • Complain About Weather

    • No longer triggers for Sims with the Indoorsy Lifestyle unless they have traveled outside the house.

Eco Lifestyle

  • Autonomous generating of Clay Blobs, Future Cubes, and Books under certain NAPs

    • Only triggers if the Sim is not acting as a Host, Guest, or Date, and is not at a bar, club, gym, lounge, retail store, relaxation center, restaurant, karaoke bar, Magic HQ, Mountain Excursion, Onsen, or Cemetery; OR if the interaction is encouraged by a Club rule, a Customer rule, or a Hobby Class.

High School Years

  • Support Body Hair

    • Only triggers for non-children who aren’t Mean or Self-Absorbed and aren't completely turned off by body hair (via my or MissyHissy's custom Turn-Ons/Offs).

  • Support Facial Hair

    • Only triggers for non-children who aren’t Mean or Self-Absorbed, and aren't completely turned off by facial hair (via my or MissyHissy's custom Turn-Ons/Offs).

Businesses & Hobbies

  • Ask to Show Off Tattoo

    • Only triggers if the target has a recent tattoo buff, both Sims are clear of a hidden Ask to Show Off Tattoo cooldown (created by EA, but not used), and the Sims either have at least 15 friendship or the asker is in the Tattoo Artist career.
