An Update from Me
Hi everyone,
I’ve mostly kept things focused on modding here on Patreon, but I wanted to take a moment to share a personal update.
Over the past two weeks, I’ve been dealing with a hostile work environment at my day job. It’s been a tough time, filled with sleepless nights and near-constant anxiety. Today, I made the decision to resign.
The good news: I now officially have more time to dedicate to modding!
The not-so-good news: I need a short break (and some much-needed sleep) before diving back in. I’ve got notepads full of ideas I’m excited to bring to life for you all. Maybe someday this can be my full-time gig. Until then, I just want to say how much I appreciate the incredible support you’ve all shown me this past year.
When I started this Patreon last summer, my goal was to fix the things that bugged me most about The Sims 4. This summer, my mods are nearing 1 million downloads across all platforms, a number I never imagined when I began this journey.
I’m truly grateful to every one of you: my patrons, my followers, and all of you who play with my mods.

I was in the same boat with my last 2 jobs. I'm now working at a new job that I like. Hang in there! Do what you want for yourself. Your health and mental health is important and should take priority before you get back into modding. Keep good thoughts.
I worked in one for YEARS and didn't realize that's what the problem was until I retired. Then it hit me just how much that place was killing me. So much happier, have nearly stopped all anxiety and sleep meds that I was taking to deal with the job. I will repeat, SO MUCH HAPPIER! You take care of YOU, we simmers will be here when you feel like working on anything. But most of all take care of YOU ❤️
I hope you get all the time you need, as it's important to take care of yourself and thank you for all you do in improving our Sims 4 experience. May you have an awesome rest of the Summer!!
I've left a very toxic workplace over a year ago. It was affecting me way more than I even thought at the time. Good on you for leaving such a place and putting yourself first. It's not easy, but sometimes needed to stay sane. Enjoy your must needed and deserved rest, we can wait, your body and mental health can't. Take care of yourself!

Hearing that a sweet and creative person like you is going through this makes me want to throw up. But I won't. Until I get some buckets. I will collect it all and dump it on those people. It will take some time. Let's hug.

Unfortunately this world is full of nasty people that congratulate themselves on how wonderful they are. You are much better out of such a toxic enviroment, where your mental health and general health and well being will improve. Toxic work environments can really overwhelm your whole life and sometimes the best choice you can make is to remove yourself from that negative sphere of influence. There's a better place for you out there, no doubt 🧡 And in the meantime, know that all the work you've done on your fantasic mods is very much appreciated!
